Your first answer is no answer.
It is an answer, albeit one you objected to on theological grounds. Since you reject historical grounds for dates of founding, then all denominations in all branches of Christianity can legitimately claim to have been founded circa 33 AD.
You have not answered the questions:
I did answer them. You simply did not like the answers.

To elaborate on William Booth, when he took his converts to the Catholic church to be catechized, the priest bodily threw them out, becuase they were not worthy of God’s Kingdom.

It is part and parcel of “Protestant Christians” that bring people to their Churches by discussing not what others believe but what they believe others to believe. I do not understand this. If I went to a Church and heard disparanging of others as a first course I would run.
So would I. I have a huge problem with that sort to thing. I think it offends God. 😦

I used to be up on some of this stuff. There are so many anti-catholic resources. These are not directed towards scholars as you know.

I would challenge anyone to show me one Roman Catholic or Orthodox website where part of what they have to offer is a disparaging of other beliefs. I have not seen it. Perhaps it exists.

I randomly picked this one. Not one word about what other’s believe.

compare and contrast that with this

Thank you. Awesome difference. I was watching TBN (who knows why and this preacher was on talking about Revelation and how we get it all wrong). Occasionally interesting but, pretty much always wrong (especially about the Catholic Church).

Case in point: The Salvation Army was formed because Anglican, Catholic and Protestant Churches point blank refused to accept the converts that William Booth made.

You do realize that Catholic practice has changed over the decades, don’t you?
That it is more accepting of the dregs of society now, than it was when Booth was alive.

I objected to nothing. I had no theological grounds mentioned. I asked where you got the date. Hey Amber where did you get that date. I never heard of that date. You infer I do not like the answer. I never registered like or dislike. I have no understanding of Christianity 101. I never took that in school. I never heard of Cardinal Humbert and since you brought it up I asked for an explanation. I could look however it would not resolve what it is you mean by it.👍

I have rejected nothing. I might and probably would. At least let me open my mouth, type my words rather than reading my mind. I hate it when my mind is read. It reads different than when I am thinking.

You discuss Booth and refusal of converts. When did this happen and over what? This is your case in point for what? Catholic practices have changed over the decades you say and to be honest I have no idea what you meant by this. Do I know? No. Tell me. Dregs of Society? What do you mean by this in the context of your discussion?.🤷

I checked this Wicca site and I looked and looked. I found things like law of attraction, harmony, peace and all that other good stuff. I don’t think you got your information from Wicca. I will bet that you have some sort of background in knowing and understanding that isn’t purely Wicca.😉

So help me understand how you really feel about what you are saying here.🙂
