Standing is for Presidents. Kneeling is for God!

It is what it is. I seem to recall that there was a missal for the TLM, and I would need those written instructions and urging too.

My point is that the missal isn’t being followed in this case, and neither is the GIRM, which attempts to further convince people of the need to kneel at that particular moment. That (the GIRM) was the “written instructions” to which I referred, not the missal.

If the tables were reversed, and if I had to hear Mass in the Traditional Latin Mass way, I would need to depend on the missal too. I would need those written instructions, as well as a little urging.
