I want to think she is. She does everything a good mother would do and shows love and affection to our son.
However our son prefers to be with me always. but I think its coz I play boys games with him and travel a lot./QU

I hope you are right.

She seems to be struggling with mental health. You need coping skills for this situation.

I’m not sure that your wife has mental issues. I think that it is possible that she was less than honest with you about wanting children and raising them Catholic. If this is possible, your marriage may be annulable if it comes to this. A member of my family is going through this right now.

Thank you for your prayers, they are the best gift you can give. Its so hard to think of that the love of my life is an abuser. I keep thinking its not her…she will change back to the loving girl I married…I know by doing this I am enabling her bad habit. Thanks
prayed for you at Mass today. Again I am sorry and I hope you find the help and support you need at this time and that your marriage heals.

Your situation sounds like mine so much it’s scary. 😦 I will definitely be praying for you and reading this thread, these people’s advice sounds like good advice for me too.

Sounds a lot like where I was a few years ago, but yours is a little worse. I began our marriage quite lackadaisical but have gotten things back in order for the most part. There were a few rough years in there.

All the usual advice applies, make frequent use of the sacraments, including confession, pray at least three times a day, or better yet, throughout the day. Especially ask for help from the Holy Spirit and St. Joseph. Fit a rosary in there. Consciously intend to imitate Christ. Start slowly, but be a man and take control of your house and put things in order. A man doesn’t cheat on his wife. You should be willing to face torment and death first. Only a selfish fool of a child would do such a thing. If traveling with your job is an obstacle, get a new job. If tv is an obstacle, have it disconnected. If you don’t already know what to do, you will, you just have to do.

prayers are sent for you too! In answering threads and questions, I’ve come to realize that there are others out there is similar situations and questions. i do try to think broadly when answering a thread. I hope you as well will seek out help for your marriage.
