Personally, I think the same prayer becomes prefunctionary and therefore, the meaning can be lost. How often do you say the same thing, allowing your thoughts to wander because you know the words so well. Try a little spice, the idea is to give thanks acknowledging our Creator. Our family likes, “Our hands we fold, our heads we bow, for good and drink, we thank Thee now!” Thanks and gratitude is the reason, just as long as we do it!
