Diocese to offer extraordinary form of Mass beginning May 11

there was some discussion on this board last year when Bishop Cooney stated the EF would not happen in his diocese unless and until priests received training. This has been offered, and the first EF public Mass will be today May 11, at Holy Rosary Church in Cedar, and Fr. Donald Libby will be presider at weekly 12:45 pm Sunday Mass (unless he is unavailable, he is currently the only priest in the diocese qualified to offer the EF Mass publicly). any priest may celebrate the EF in private, even with others in attendance, but not at a publicly advertised Mass time.
