Yes- abortion is prioritised. Of course. When we have perfect knowledge and can weigh all ends, it is often the issue which bears most weight.

But can we see all ends? In party politics, suffused with demagogues, the argument actually runs deeper
 
This passage comes to mind…the same trap:
For it hath been signified unto me, my brethren, of you, by them that are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. Its sad to see those who identify as “traditional” Catholics choose celebrity priests over their own bishops.
 
I encourage reading of the full text of the Mexico City Policy so one knows the loopholes built into the policy.
