im feeling discouraged , depressed and sometimes in denial. mostly due to my sins, finding it hard to have hope

Praying that you find a traditional chapel with a traditional priest. God bless you.

:highprayer:

Lord let me walk with You
Although my steps are small
Stay beside, hold my hand
And never let me fall.
Amen.

:christmastree1:

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the Fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.

Amen. † :signofcross:

Praying for you … that you may
acknowledge God,
take the next right step,
and be a sign of hope to those around you.
Amen

Gracious and merciful Father, please come to their assistance.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,

Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.

Prayer for Faith

Lord, I believe:
I wish to believe in Thee.
Lord, let my faith be full and unreserved,
and let it penetrate my thought,
my way of judging Divine things and human things.
Lord, let my faith be joyful
and give peace and gladness to my spirit,
and dispose it for prayer with God
and conversation with men,
so that the inner bliss of its fortunate possession
may shine forth in sacred and secular conversation.
Lord, let my faith be humble and not presume
to be based on the experience of my thought and of my feeling;
but let it surrender to the testimony of the Holy Spirit,
and not have any better guarantee than in docility to Tradition
and to the authority of the magisterium of the Holy Church.
Amen.

Romans 8:31-39,

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?”

Jesus loves sinners, how can you be discouraged? Online is a good start but you need to reach out to a priest. They love sinners too. We also do the same sins over and over, and ask for forgiveness. Go to confession every week if you have to. The grace will smother the sin.

Praying to the Holy Spirit to give you guidance, direction, strength, fortitude & wisdom in your time of need.

Our feelings are our feelings. That needs to be the starting place.

Luke 5:32 "I have come to call not the righteous but sinners to repentance.”

I would certainly count myself among that group.

Praying for you. May Jesus hold you in the palms of his pierced hands and shelter you until you feel nothing but the love of God. You are precious in His sight.

Praying for you

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Christ, hear us.
Christ, graciously hear us.

Jesus loves all sinners - and every one of us are sinners! Confess them to a good, orthodox priest, resolve to sin no more, and receive our Lord in the Eucharist. Repeat as necessary.

The Lord wants to forgive you…all you need to do is ask.

Praying for you.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Prayer to Our Lady of Mental Peace

O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon pwlj_christ87 in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give
  • be always with her.
And, help her to bring this
    same Peace into the lives
    of others.
Our Lady of Mental Peace,
  • Pray for us!
    Amen.

I was once discouraged with the Catholic Faith in my younger life. I tried other religions.
When I became older, I realized nothing is better than the Catholic religion, and now I am totally committed to it.
I don’t like the sins I committed either, but God forgives us. As long as we try not to commit them again and be mindful of that, we can go on in life.
