Are we allowed to share remarkable dreams or visions on here?

If not, do you advise against doing so on Reddit?

I’ve had some insane dreams since September. My priest hasn’t told me to discredit them, he told me to pay attention, but I want a broader range of opinions about it. Thank you.

I’m pretty sure unapproved private revelations are a banned topic on CAF.
Correct.

Yes I do advise against it. As I would any internet forum.

With charity, I’d suggest you ask for the opinion of another priest in your area as opposed to anonymous people on the internet.

Listen to Servant of God Fr. John Hardon’s† YouTube videos on visions and visionaries. In his extensive experience, true visions and revelations were never publicized. They were confided to confessors and/or spiritual directors. His wealth of knowledge and experience are irreplaceable. These videos were made very near the end of his life.

It used to be the rule that unapproved private revelations were banned here, but CAF appears to have loosened this policy somewhat. If anything imprudent or uncharitable came up now, I’m sure they would end the thread.

But there’s a difference between discussing Bayside, which is specifically disapproved, and discussing your own personal revelations.

I would be very cautious in any event. Finding a good spiritual director is the best step.
