Actually, not.
Actually, yes! Of course God loves sinners, even scribes and Pharisees. For all we know, some of the scribes and Pharisees later repented, … and there was rejoicing in heaven. (Luke 15) Take the long view on your hypocritical friend. Be patient. We have much reason to hope for her.
but there is a dividing line between sinners who admit it and those who never will.
Excuse me… Never will? You have no way of knowing that she never will. Be patient, trust in God, and have hope. One of the spiritual works of mercy is to bear wrongs patiently.
I pray for the person
Good! (While you are waiting for that prayer to be answered, is there anything else you can do for her?)
but I pray harder to be delivered from this evil
Be at peace. I am sure that you will come out of this a better person. Perhaps God sent her your way for a reason. Give thanks and praise to God! (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Wow.

When I am playing with fire, getting into what could be sin, I would hope and pray my Christian friend would take me to lunch and say “LL, I love you and I want the best for you. Right now you friendship with Mr Jones is looking to the outside like an illicit romance. You might consider cooling it and only keep company with men who are free to marry.” Then give me a big hug and LISTEN to my side of things.
