I communicate with a girl for a year in the Internet, to be honest all the time we talk as friends, although she did not even hear my voice and have never seen in my life (for the second time such a situation, the first time was fall in love with a girl, but again, all the love was on the internet and we missed the moment when it was necessary to meet, and then love is ended)
The fact is that if I was sure that she loves me, we would meet (this girl is not a believer, and most likely it is separated from her ex-boyfriend because he did not want sexual intercourse before marriage) and I understand that on this we have nothing does not work, but the communication I do not want to interrupt, also during this friendship sometimes i have feelings of love, whether i should tone down and break this feel in my head and just be friends with her? or i can feel this semi-love(lol) and talk her as friends? with the circumstance that I did not want to take any steps to meet her, as just as friends, cause i feel she dont want this, so is not a sin(i mean bad thing, not a pure sin) to waste a love for the person with whom just your friend at a distance? it is REAL to love GIRL (i am a man btw :D) as FRIEND? cause i think this feelings is from friendship love-side, or not?

This is your second virtual girlfriend? How much time have you spent talking to your actual friends in person during that time?

Your post reminds me of the Subaru commercial where the young woman sitting at her laptop bewails her parents’ lack of “friends”, while the parents are shown out having fun with another couple on their mountain bikes.

Yes, you can have a real friendship with a female that is not romantic, but the virtual world ought to be a supplement to your real life, not the other way around. No offense to our friends here at CAF, but I think we’d all say that you want to find a real love interest and real friends, spend time with people in real time.

Speaking of…gotta go! 👍

Well, that after the first Internet-Love I realized that it is easier to build a relationship with a girl in real life. I understand that my friendship with the girl on the Internet does not continue beyond it, because we live far apart, but we like to talk, and on this I would like to figure out whether to suppress these feelings for fear of dejavu of the first “love” story or is it caused by a feeling of love for a friend(between girl and men)? I have friends in real life and on this please answer the question only 😛

devote the time real life as before, socializing at school, socializing and going walk with my best friend, but sometimes i and my friends just talked about these relations, and yeah, this second girl is not my girlfriend, just a friend as i said, but i dont want dejavu of the first story (as i said:rolleyes:) and dejavu meant that I did not want a relationship as guy and a girl, because they will again take place on the internet.

Sry for doubleposting, cause i didnt see this, ow…

It is OK to have what under former technologies would have been termed a “pen pal”, and it is OK for this to be someone of the opposite sex. Realize that it is easy to idealize someone under those circumstances, but that doesn’t make it a terrible idea. Also realize that each of you will have real-time relationships that will take precedence, and that is OK, too. If you don’t put a lot of eggs in that basket, yes, it can be quite worthwhile, because you can share things in a totally different context from your other friends.
