Well: for who believes in that (I strongly do) there is a Jesus’ promise tied up to the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. Since I have not the English text, I translate it from my language as I can:

In the time of death I will defend as My glory every soul who will recite this Chaplet, or if other people recite it near to a dying person they get the same forgiveness for the dying one. When this Chaplet is recited near to a dying person, the wrath of God calms down and the inscrutable Mercy envelops the soul. (paragraph 811).

Since my granddads died before I was born, recently I got the idea to recite this Chaplet for each of them.
When I was a child my mother taught me: “God lives in the Eternity, for Him all is present, so if you can’t do otherwise, pray God for everybody even though humanly speaking is too late.”
I did. It’s very personal, as all that I said, but I am sure I haven’t wasted my time.

I’m praying the little Baby Jesus near to my desktop computer for your dad.

WORKING LATE TONIGHT AT THE OFFICE…oups…sorry for the caps…I am keeping a picture of the Divine Mercy open on my PC as I work… I offered my boring and tedious work to Jesus. Doing it is easier with Jesus watching. I recite parts of the chapelet from time to time.

Thats another question… at times… I cannot keep track or recite a full chapelet… because I am working… so I offer little fragments… any others do the same ? I hope this pleases Jesus… I used to say so many Ave Maria a day… now its ‘’ Jesus I trust in You ‘’ and other Divine Mercy Prayers. I still pray some occasional Aves.

Thoughts about this anyone ?

Another very special prayer I make before the Image of the Divine Mercy… some people in my life take a lot of my energy… I also worry about them… for reasons like… they are weak… or don’t cope as well as some… some who are close to me are critical about me…the devotion to Divine Mercy tells me I have to keep forgiving and keep giving…I throw my arms in the air ( not literally ) and tell Jesus I trust Him and ENTRUST Him with these dear ones in my life…I feel so liberated after… I leave with a feeling that noone better than Jesus could look after the happiness and well-being of those I love. I know He hears me and gives graces and protection to those I care about.

Today is S.Faustina’s birthday.🍰 She is born in August 25, 1905.
What kind of gift a saint in heaven could appreciate?:heaven:
It’s not easy to answer such a question 😉 but I guess that a saint could welcome… a good workload. 🙂
So, I personally think today might be a good day to ask to our beloved sister something great.:yup:

God Bless you for posting! I took St. Faustina’s name as my confirmation name and call upon her daily. She never ceases to hear my pleas for her intecessory prayers.

Since today is her birthday I will be asking that she be truly present with all of us who seek, trust, and are grateful to her. ❤️.

Me too… I’m living a period in which my work is so demoralizing… The only solution is yours: keep ourselves watching Jesus. These days I glance at Baby Jesus: He is so encouraging, so affectionate. I think the better is going ahead step by step, trying to do the very present Will of Jesus, and I say again… trying… if you see what I mean 😉
Because in the end we can’t focus on more than a step and we can’t lose heart for our failures: indeed, if we were “just men” (!), we would risk to think we really don’t need the Mercy of God… laughable…!

Oups… I mean St Faustina,s birthday. Her feast day is oct 5.

Aurelio, Mary appears with the Infant Jesus to St Faustina. I wish I knew more about worshipping the Child Jesus… this is new to me. I have begun to read up on the Infant of Prague. Is this a typical devotion to the Child Jesus ?

As for the devotions to the Sacred Heart and to the Divine Mercy… I keep finding myself saying << Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on us >> I suppose the two devotions are going to overlap like that sometimes.

I have started a very small prayer group for the chapelet. ( Although the words are repeated… our human hearts keep the prayer fresh and pleasing to God )Interestingly, we ofter exchange thoughts about Mary before praying the chapelet. Since some have read every single word that is from or concerns Mary…there are some interesting thoughts. St Faustina asked the Blessed Virgin to teach her the spiritual life… and even to <> her heart for Jesus. The message was to love God and have deep humility… Humility comes back again and again in the messages that Mary has given us through visionaries and saints.

From my own readings I have remembered that in difficult times St Faustina relied on the Eucharist for strength. The words of Mary are of great solace as well… that she always sees our plight and is with us…Jesus wants us to ask and trust. That message is clear and even repeated in the Diary.

for me too. But Jesus, somewhere I don’t remember in the Diary, says more or less that worshipping the Holy Child is particularly indicated for pride people. When I read it, I began intensifying my devotion and… I feel myself very comfortable in it.
Another very important fact I noticed is that Jesus very often appears to S.Faustina as Child Jesus during the celebration of the Holy Mass. I give my personal interpretation: the Holy Child, as well as the Holy Virgin, are excellent “ways” to better introduce ourselves in the Mistery of the Eucharist.

I was at mass last evening waiting at the altar for communion and I prayed ‘’ I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of your Beloved Son ‘’ … it occurred to me how immense and pleasing this must be to God…I think it was by grace that I had this realisation… perhaps to encourage me to continue this prayer.

Good morning all 🙂

I learned of the Divine Mercy after seeing a presentation by the Mother of Mercy Messengers (thedivinemercy.org/MOMM/) at my hometown church (which is, coincidentally, Sacred Heart Church). Since then, I have been blessed by praying the chaplet, mostly in that the more I pray, the more I want to pray!

I don’t pray it everyday, but lately I’ve been trying to, often on my lunch hour (it only takes about 7 minutes to pray it). I find it a great comfort to pray it when I am concerned for someone that I can pray the chaplet for them.

I’ve shared it with a few people, hoping to share more. I’ve read some of the Diary, but haven’t finished it yet. It’s a blessing, but a little difficult to read, in that there never seems to be a good “stopping point” since it’s not a novel, but a diary.

We have perpetual adoration at our church, which is a blessing in itself, and being able to pray the chaplet in the Presence of Jesus is wonderful. I urge anyone not familiar with the Divine Mercy to check out the website above. Also, the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy is in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, if anyone is interested. It is a peaceful, beautiful place to spend the day praying and enjoying God’s creation.

Jesus told St Faustina he would give great graces to those who prayed the chapelet. I have come to recognize that so far… wisdom is one of the graces that this devotion brings.

Its remarkable the feeling I get when I need to pray for someone… especially when its someone I am trying to help but can’t seem to ‘‘reach’’ … and I pray the chapelet… I get the feeling a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Ok granted…the changes are sometimes not overnight… but they are there and they are lasting and they are for the better. I ask for Mercy and graces for others…My helplessness ( to change others ) calls upon God who is merciful and mighty.

Sounds fine ! I will keep that in mind at mass this evening. There is a statue of St Joseph with the Child Jesus right above the Crypt altar. JMJ,

Howdy my brothers in Christ!
We have an simple, inexpensive copy of the first image that the was painted based on St. Faustina’s vision of Jesus in our living room and in each of the bedrooms. 🙂

I wake up every morning at 3:00 and pray the chaplet…this started soon after my surgery and over time, has become an alarm of sorts. Sometimes, though, I feel the sensation of something “not good” lurking. When this happens, I bless myself and say the Hail Mary and all feels well again. I know that we do so much good for the world and those souls who are in danger everytime we pray the chaplet (and for our souls as well).
