The technology itself is not evil. The uses it will be put to may very well be. As the way the Devil works most the time is to say he is not real and that we are concerned about things that we need not be. He Is the great deceiver
" Go ahead Eve eat the fruit you won’t die."
“There is no real mark of the beast you have to worry about. Its all just poetic writing not to be taken literally.”
I don’t believe that this chip is the mark a the beast has not be reveled, but if it is in place it could become altered to be. I do believe that it is Satan working in the world to blind us to the signs so that as they appear we dismiss them.
A tattooed bar code an implanted micro chip all are means that can be used the point is don’t take them. If there nothing to worry about taking them now how much easier will it be to deceive people into taking it when it really does make a difference.

I have heard about this for years, at least since the 1980s. I have also been told that UPC bar codes are the mark of the beast, and that we will be issued one one day as well. I know for a fact that the social security number is the mark, as you cannot get a job without one. Therefor, without one you cannot buy food or medication or anything else. So, all Americans are already carrying the mark of the beast and we are therefore lost.
You can work under the table as the Mexicans do so I don’t think SS# is it.

Welcome to the game of Pin-the-Tail-on-the-Anti-Christ. Anyone can play and it reminds me of Chesterton’s comment that while John saw many terrible and scary things, he never saw anything as scary as one of his own commentators.

LOL

OK So I believe in the mark of the beast BUT I don’t believe anyone will ever “accidentally” take it. You can’t take the mark by going to church on Sunday, You can’t take the mark by getting a black light ink stamp at Chuck E. Cheeses(yes I have been told that was the mark!), you can’t take the mark by using a debit card, You can’t even take the mark by getting a microchip implant for health reasons.

When/if such a thing happens:
  1. You will know without a doubt that to do this would be an outright denial of God.
  2. Refusal to take it will likely lead to you being martyred
  3. If you don’t take it, and you still live, you can’t legally buy or sell anymore.
NO one is even coming close to threatening my life if I don’t go to church on Saturdays and people going to church on Sundays are not purposely an outwardly denying God, People getting ink stamps at Chuck E. Cheeses Can still buy stuff even if they refuse the stamp (never heard of anyone getting killed for it either!), people with microchip implants are not meeting ANY of those requirements.

Even if you don’t believe it’ll ever happen, if it did and you are a Christian you wouldn’t want the mark and you couldn’t get it by accident anyhow. You’d KNOW it was bad.

I think though we must be very careful in this kind of speculation, and I believe it is clear, the beast emporer Domitian, and the false prophet is the Priesthood of pagan Rome, which enforced Emporer worship. This is my conviction after years of private (and totally amateur) study of the Apocalypse.
I view it as Nero’s persecution. During his reign it was impossible to trade without submitting to Nero worship in the town square. While the Jewish leadership compromised to survive, by performing daily sacrifices in the Temple for Nero, the Christians refused and they were hunted down and killed.

In this case the mark was an inward loyalty that manifested itself in peoples outward actions.

Peace,

Ryan 🙂
