Psalms 49:15 - But God will rescue me; he will save me from the power of death.

 Valke2, who was saved from the power of death? Who is Pslam 49 written about?

 But would you suggest that Elijha denied Jesus as God? (See Matthew 17)
I would absolutely suggest that Elijha denied Jesus as God. From my perspective, that’s a no brainer. May translation says redeemed from the power of the netherworld. But either way, I don’t see it having anything whatsoever to do with Jesus. Or any specific individual for that matter., It is comparing the wicked and fools who think they can redeem their souls with money/earthly things to the righteous person, I think. I’ll look at it again.

It is a pslam decrying corruption. Which explains the first line, it beinga psalm for Korah.

Funny Valke how you ignore my post asking you to read The New Testament before you comment on miracles.

As later writers (John) we see the msg toned down and eleminated these traditions… Thomas, the latest of these sources argues agaisnt an apocalyptic msg that the Kingdom of God will come to earth at the end of the age (e.g. Gosp. Thom.3,8,113)

Hmm seems Jesus was supposed to usher in the apocalypse not too long after he died. Heck, look at Paul’s letter to Thessalonicans. It would seem they think the end is coming in their lifetime.
