I disagree with you if you say that Muslims are atheists. As a Catholic, I have problems with the Islamic religion. But I grant that they believe in God. You are welcome to your point of view, but if you want to advertise it at a Catholic internet site, you might need to expect others to “become president”. My position is not unique. The best thing I can say about your position is that it is in the minority, and clashes with that of the Catholic Church. We can avoid becoming Muslims without exaggerating their errors as you would seem to want.
Roy, You have spoken with gravity, even though I accept Revelations from God since Jesus. I absolutely disagree that Allah is different from El/Eloh/Elohím/Yahweh or Brahman! There is only one God, and all are created by God, and God will have us worship Him as one. How patient He is to raise us up, until we are able to organize ourselves into family units, tribes, city-states, nations and empires, and finally as a unified species on this planet.

Zechariah 14:9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

Zephaniah 3:9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.

John 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

Psalms 24:1 The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein…
24:9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
24:10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory.

Well, I guess us Christians will be thrown into hell fire according to the nonsense above.

However, allah will accept the “sinful” only if the “sinful” worshipped allah alone.

I found this part of the hadith interesting:
They would say: We worshipped Jesus, son of Allah.
It would be said to them: You tell a lie; Allah did not take for Himself either a spouse or a son.
I think this confirms the Islamic misunderstanding of the Trinity as being God, Jesus and Mary. Muhammad thought of Blessed Mother and Jesus, Son of God in human/family terms rather than how they are truly viewed by Christians.

Maybe I should post this in the other thread about Christians worshipping 3 gods. 🤷

Many people have worshiped one God, that doesn’t mean they are the same. I do not get any correlation between the God of the Jews, or the God of the Christians and Islam’s allah.

And since islam claims that their Allah is the same God then there should be some consistency in the names that were attributed to it. And there is absolutely none.

And if you want to quote the Bible, there is no indication that they are talking about Mohammed or Allah. None. Because Mohammed claimed that Allah made his immoral behavior ok, and killing others just because they are not believers in islam. I never read anywhere in the Bible that any of the Prophets, or Jesus, wanted anyone killed because they were not Jews or followers of Jesus who were later to be called Christians.

You guys are in a world all of your own making. And it is very telling that an ideology such as Islam has to let its followers lie in order to fool them about Islam.

Hi David Mark.

Perhaps you can confirm this for me. Do Muslims believe Allah to be the incomprehensible, transcendent Creator of all things? If so, even if this were a name, the Person would be God. The God of the Christians and Jews.

As a Catholic, I have an interest in accurate representations of what I perceive to be the truth. I want others to accurately represent my faith. It is therefore in my own self-interest accurately to represent what I perceive to be wrong. I am not some prosecutor wanting to charge a shoplifter with kidnapping. Where Islam is wrong I will say so…but I will not silently stand by while someone slanders somebody else’s faith whether it is out of ignorance or ill will. I guess I hope it is the former, but either one is hard to remedy.

Anyway, Catholics may know that among all the errors adopted by Mohammed, he also adopted at least one truth. His followers worship the God of Israel according to the Catholic Encyclopedia and the Second Vatican Council. Do we think that our loving and merciful God will magnify our misdeeds and errors on the Day of Judgment? No. He will minutely examine every detail and be pleased to acknowledge any mitigating factors that will contribute to a lessening orm pardoning of guilt. All believers of every faith have a solemn duty to represent what they perceive to be error as accurately as they represent what they perceive to be truth. From the Catholic Encyclopedia:

Of Mohammedan Monotheism little need be said. The Allah of the Koran is practically one with the Jehovah of the Old Testament. Its keynote is islam, submissive resignation to the will of God, which is expressed in everything that happens. Allah is, to use the words of the Koran, “The Almighty, the All-knowing, the All-just, the Lord of the worlds, the Author of the heavens and the earth, the Creator of life and death, in whose hand is dominion and irresistible power, the great all-powerful Lord of the glorious throne. God is the mighty . . . the Swift in reckoning, who knoweth every ant’s weight of good and of ill that each man hath done, and who suffereth not the reward of the faithful to perish. He is the King, the Holy, . . . the Guardian over His servants, the Shelterer of the orphan, the Guide of the erring, the Deliverer from every affliction, the Friend of the bereaved, the Consoler of the afflicted, . . . the generous Lord, the gracious Hearer, the Near-at-hand, the Compassionate, the Merciful, the Forgiving” (cited from “Islam”, by Ameer Ali Syed). **The influence of the Bible, particularly the Old Testament, on Mohammedan Monotheism is well known and need not be dwelt on here. **

I didn’t blank it out, rather I didn’t see much point in responding to them as they are unscholarly and have too many mistakes to be worth bothering with. Also as someone who has studied under Islamic academics for some time, you’re not in a position to tell me what ‘every Islamic academic knows’.
Kadaveri, and you refuse to admit your mind is blocked?

You say allah is not a name??? Not to insult you…but I’m not here to poise you against the multitude of islamic academics out there. You can do that by advertising yourself on TV and tell them that allah is not the personal name of islam’s deity and we’ll see the islamics laughing their socks off at you.

But let’s start with a quote -

Catholic Encyclopedia Allah The name of their God in Arabic.

It is a compound word from the article, 'al, and ilah, divinity, and signifies “the god” par excellence. This form of the divine name is in itself a sure proof that ilah was at one time an appellative, common to all the local and tribal gods. Gradually, with the addition of the article, it was restricted to one of them who took precedence of the others; finally, with the triumph of monotheism, He was recognized as the only true God.

Let it be noted that although Allah is an Arabic term, it is used by all Moslems, whatever be their language, as the name of God.

SO - Allah is the NAME of god in Arabic. [is al-ilah the NAME of god in Arabic?] Ilah is (was) a word COMMON to ALL the local and tribal gods - by my definition a generic word to refer to god(s). But when you add the article you have something more specific that became restricted or applied to a particular one of these many tribal gods who became identified as the chief of these pagan gods - Allah. It was not until the rise of Islam (the ONLY monotheistic religion to ‘triumph’ in Arabia - by the sword, might I add) that Allah was said to be ‘the only true god’. This use of Allah is not a Jewish or Christian innovation but an Islamic coercion.

Of course, you can reject the above. But let’s also remember, there was NO formalised arabic prior to muhammad. Essentially, arabic was developed FOR Islam. So, if the arabic speaking community insists on using allah synonymously with the noun - god, it is their choice to want to make ‘allah’ their god. BUT…Christians must be aware of the following.

1 - allah was the NAME of the chief pagan god at the ka’aba during muhammad’s time.
2 - When islam’s allah is contrasted literally with other ‘gods’, they never fail to use ‘allah’ & ‘ilah’ separately.
3 - the name allah is declared as a name even in the quran.

The fact is, it was used as a NAME for the idol at the ka’aba. It has to be differentiated literally ALWAYS when contrasted with the other ‘gods’ and it is even declared and admitted as a name in the quran. What other evidence do you need?

There is very clear and desperate attempts by the muslims to try to equate their ‘allah’ to god status. Afterall, muslims ONLY know allah and muhammad. What else do they know?

Like I always say, I can call my pet goldfish ‘thehuman’, but that doesn’t make it human.

And you are free to call your stone ‘thegod’, but that doesn’t make it god.

muslimsopenyoureyes.blogspot.com
  • Might I add this too - Do you know that muslims very frequently scream ‘There is no ‘god’ but allah?’ Which nutcase will shout ‘THERE IS NO ELEPHANT BUT THE ELEPHANT’??? If allah is literally synonymously with the noun - ‘god’ then this scream by the muslims would be totally ABSURD. Basic logic tells you that even in this scream, the muslims are openly admitting that ‘allah’ is not ‘god’ (in the literal sense) but greater.
Its like saying, I’m not a human, but a greater human. What kind of nonsense would that be? Haaa!

.

Muslims often insist that they worship the same God as the Jews and the Christians.

But can we say we know a person when…we Don’t even know his name. Don’t even know his values/principles, and Don’t even know his likes & dislikes??? Of course not. Simple logic tells you that even if you claim and insist that you know the man, he will certainly turn around and boot you out of his house and say he does not know you. Right?

What is the Jewish God’s name? Exodus 3:15 God also said to Moses, "Say this to the Israelites: Yahweh, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever; this is how I am to be remembered in every generation.

What are some of his values/principles?" Deuteronomy 24:4 her first husband, who divorced her, is not allowed to marry her again for she has been defiled. That would be detestable in the eyes of the LORD. Do not bring sin upon the land the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance.

What does He like? • Hosea 11:1 The LORD’s Love for Israel ] When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called My son.(note that the entire community in Egypt then saved in the Exodus through the crossing of the Red Sea were the descendants & relatives of Joseph who was a direct descendant of ISAAC…NOT Ishmael)

So, since we don’t know God’s only name (muslims call their deity allah/rahman), we don’t follow his instructions/values (muslims marry & remarry), and don’t like what He likes (islam hates jews especially the descendants of Isaac)….then what has God got to do with muslims?

…SERIOUSLY…NOTHING. GOD HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MUSLIMS.

If you are a muslim, you should seriously ask yourself who you are really praying to, because based on the above simple logic it certainly isn’t God.

My dear brother, I respectfully believe that the Muslims know that there is an Omnipotent God. But, they did not care (perhaps dare) to know God’s personality. To my belief, to know that there is God who rules above everything and anything is enough for them.

Swariffin, many people also believe there is an Omnipotent God, some of them even burn human sacrifices to it even to this day in the remotest part of Asia. Do you think they are reaching God or God is reaching out to them???

What does the Bible teach us? What is enough? To know God and His Only Begotten Son, Jesus.

reading the post but goto go, just wanted to say as a catholic i would not attatch my God to the muslim god called allah. No way ill put my salvation against that not ever, they believe in a god but no way its our God. Our God dont teach us to cut heads off, being intolerant of others, sex with 9 year olds, etc.

I think Swariffin’s observation is a good one. They know that there IS a God, But I personally do not think that they worship Him, and I think that the second Vatican council is wrong if that is where this idea was first advanced (and if advanced elsewhere first, then it was wrong then too, wherever it was).

Muhammad may have talked a good game about “my Lord and your Lord” when trying to entice non-Muslims to join him, but Jesus Christ, who is God, says that those who deny Him will be denied before the Father (Matthew 10:33), and it is the Father who modern Muslim apologists and their misguided Catholic ecumenical counterparts claim that Muslims recognize in their “Allah”. I do not believe this, either.

Jews and Muslims cannot go to heaven without recognizing that Jesus Christ is Lord and is the son of God.

Acts 4:12

…It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. 11He is " ‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the capstone.’ 12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

Romans 10:8-10

8But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: 9That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

1 John 2:21-23

21I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth. 22Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist—he denies the Father and the Son. 23No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

KORAN:

“The Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary, was no more than God’s apostle . . .God is but one God. GOD FORBID THAT HE SHOULD HAVE A SON!” (4:171)

Those who say: “The Lord of Mercy has begotten a son, preach a monstrous falsehood, at which the very heavens might crack . . .” (19:88)

”God forbid that He Himself should beget a son!” (19:29)

“Praise be to God who has never begotten a son; who has no partner in His Kingdom . . .” (17:111)

“God has begotten a son. ‘God forbid! Self-sufficient is He.! (10:68)

“If the Lord of Mercy had a son, I would be the first to worship him.” (43:72-81)

KORAN:

“The Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary, was no more than God’s apostle . . .God is but one God. GOD FORBID THAT HE SHOULD HAVE A SON!” (4:171)

Yes, Roy, I firmly believe that Allah is the same as EL / Eloh / Elohím.

Mark 15:34 “And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, **Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? **which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?”

That was Syriac- Aramaic. In Arabic, “My God, my God” is it is Iláhí Iláhí
Jesus was calling upon the One True God, Allah/Yahweh, besides Whom there is no other.

Staffsgt7: My two sons are in the Army, and we are simmering over the lack of security at Ft. Hood and elsewhere! What do we need to do, set up an internet- fire-wall to prevent conflictd people like Hasan, the shooter, from talking to jíhadist haters in Yemen?

If you see no correlation between your perceptions of gods, get with the one true God.
Just remember Isaiah 45:5 I am the Lord, and there is no other, besides Me there is no God.

Religious systems are like bodies that are born and die. Some are so old, they are like fossils --others are so freshly dead, rigor mortis has not set in.

Islam, at once the progenitor and persecutor of the Faith of Bahá’u’lláh, is, if we read aright the signs of the times, only beginning to sustain the impact of this invincible and triumphant Faith. We need only recall the nineteen hundred years of abject misery and dispersion which they, who only for the short space of three years persecuted the Son of God, have had to endure, and are still enduring.
We may well ask ourselves, with mingled feelings of dread and awe, how severe must be the tribulations of those who, during no less than fifty years, have, “at every moment tormented with a fresh torment” Him Who is the Father, and who have, in addition, made His Herald – Himself a Manifestation of God – to quaff, in such tragic circumstances, the cup of martyrdom.
(Shoghi Effendi, The Promised Day is Come, p. 99)
This final passage aludes to the Bab, (Who was like John the Baptist and Elijah), --and Baha’u’llah. These Twin Messengers came out of an Islamic matrix in the nineteenth century, and revealed a new Book and new Laws for a new Dispensation.)

Davidmark, that’s why you’re in the Bahai’ faith. You believe even that someone like Babwhateverlah is fit to be even a prophet.

Do you not see what Firstmode has typed above? Or are your eyes smeared with something indecent?

Its CLEAR and LOUD.

Only those blind and hard of hearing will have difficulty realising that islam is the Anti-Christ. No one who rejects such clear instructions from the Bible is fit to comment on who they think God is because according to God, they are LIARS.

.

Part 1

Jesus, Islam, Christanity

Muslim faith came after Prophet Mohammad and his claimed revelation from God through the Angel Gabriel. (By AD ----). Is there any one to verify the claim to be true? There is none except Mohammed. Is there any other Holy book or prophet declaring Mohammed as prophet of God? None except Holy Koran. The paradox is Prophet Mohammed says Koran is Holy revelation from God. Koran Says Mohammed is prophet of God.
In Mosaic Law clearly say there has to be at least two witnesses for anything to believed. As for Mohammed there is no scriptural witness except Koran.

So to surmount these difficulties Muslims claim that Mohammed is been prophesized in bible. To support their claim they quote parts of St. John 14:16 and 17 “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, (“that he may abide with you forever;” this part will be omitted by them)
“Even the Spirit of truth;” (“whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you”this part will be omitted by them”)
& then John 16:13 “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come”
Muslims will explain this to you that Jesus prophesized Mohammed as “Spirit of truth” and he was called spirit since he was not born at that time but was existing as a spirit with God. He is to Guide in all truth of scriptures including witnessing Jesus as referred in Holy Koran. Usually a mediocre Christian believer who has shallow knowledge of Bible will be shaken in faith by this presentation.

The irony is that they never explain the verses in full for it will invalidate their claim that the Spirit of truth as Prophet Mohammad. Bible clearly says that the Spirit of truth will be dwelling with you (i.e. Live in you) the world cannot receive, see, and know Him.
But everyone knows Prophet Mohammad as the world saw him as a person. So this Argument proves to be wrong based on the scripture they quote by themselves.
If Prophet Mohammad was of Jesus’ succession he has to abide by Jesus’ teaching also. But he did not follow Jesus’ commandments to have only one wife for him. He conveniently goes back to the old testament time custom for it. He contradicted the nonviolence commanded by Jesus while restraining St.Peter when he was out to do war with the captors of Jesus.

Prophet Mohammed and his followers had not tolerated any critical analysis of the tenacity of his prophetic status, revelation in Koran – all those questioned were found violently wiped out by Islam. Islam cannot have any of such critics within them alive.
This is a stark contradiction to the freedom of criticism and choice, existing among Christians. Anybody can critically analyze can verify authority of Bible and follow it, or can maintain certain criticism until anybody understand them fully, or reject it and walk the other way and teach anyone of the same.

Part 2

Jesus, Islam, Christanity

Isn’t it a contradiction to claim of Prophet Mohammed of having exemplary character value while history says he married to his adapted son’s wife after getting her divorced with the support of divine revelation through Holy Koran, and marriage with Aisha while she was still child of age 9.etc

Isn’t it strange the claim of Muslims that Jesus was not crucified but someone else was crucified (probably Judas Iscariot – but could not identify who for certain) and God made him look like Jesus, but they fail to say why God had done such a gimmick to fool people, if he was all powerful and determined to rescue Jesus. All these had to be only revealed after centuries though Prophet Mohammed without being able to establish the claim by giving evidences. Jews, followers of Jesus, Romans all had conclusive evidence and witnesses that Jesus was crucified and was dead. Is it not legitimate requirement to provide enough proof to dispute the already established fact for centuries to be believed otherwise?

Muslims claim that Bible is corrupted (old testament by Jews, New Testament by Christians) but could not show where and when it is changed by whom. All the making of mountain out of mole is the minor scribal errors and translation variants. But they forget about the wealth of mammoth manuscript evidence supporting the Bible which will clearly show the chronology and venue and extant of correction if ever made. (Old Testament about 2000 dating back to BC and recent findings of Dead Sea scrolls, New Testament about 20000 starting from mid of first century AD). It was never been established even after the thorough criticism and study of Bible manuscripts that the central theme of salvation of mankind only through Jesus Christ is ever changed or was made up of down the history.

Muslims contest the doctrine of Trinity – the Triune God – Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. Misunderstanding of the concept (which is a mystery) leaves them in dark with considering Christians have 3 different Gods.

I would like to like to explain this in a simple form so that anyone can grasp it to some extent. Bible says we are made up in the likeness of God. That is the key.

We have a kind of triune substance in each person. We have Spirit, Body, and life.
  1. Spirit- no one has seen,
  2. Body is the image of the Spirit
  3. Life is the power that makes us move and do things.
All these are separate substances but belong to a single personality. Similarly
  1. Father - Spirit of the God that no one has ever seen
  2. Son - Image originated from Father (Spirit) as Word of God (called Son since originated from Father – nothing to do with the human concept of marriage and procreation) - this image was existing long before the creation of the world according to bible – in this image Humans are created.
  3. Holy Spirit – the Power of God manifesting among us. Mentioned in bible hovering over the earth at the time of creation. Later mentioned was present as an anointing on Prophets, Kings, Priests etc. currently present on anyone who accepts Jesus as his savior who will receive Him as gift from Father in heaven.
Hence Christians believe not in 3 Gods but one God only.

Part 3

Jesus, Islam, Christanity

Deity of Jesus was not the invention of Christians. Let us examine the following verses
Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.(Immanuel means God with us)
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Jews are very particular in worshipping the God of Abraham the only one God. So it is natural that Jews should have rejected these verses because a virgin born male child is called Immanuel (God with us), the mighty God and everlasting Father. Blasphemy can be accused of prophet Isaiah. But they never dared to change them or delete them for the fear of corrupting the scripture. Even the recent find of famous Dead sea scrolls (dating back to before Christ) verify that the verses never altered by anyone anywhere.

So Jesus is the Word of God (Son of God) incarnated in flesh as Son of Virgin Mary, Jesus Christ. He became perfect sacrifice for the world so that by his sacrificial blood all humanity can be saved by accepting Him as redeemer, not by deeds, but by faith in Him.

He could live back to life because he fulfilled the laws of Old Testament. He gave his life once and took it back by resurrection. Being sinless death could not contain him. The Mosaic Law says those who fulfill the laws can live by it. Animal sacrifices were ordained only to remind the mankind of the requirement of shedding of blood for redemption of sin – and of the perfect sacrifice of a perfect man in place of imperfect human Adam and his generations. Why God had to incarnate as human? Because there only one thing in the world which is unchangeable in character – that is God – only God could out live the temptation of Satan.

Yes Jesus even being the personality of God left all the divinity and became a mere man to be equivalent to mankind. Suffered, felt, prayed, and lived as a perfect human showing obedience to Father in heaven even to death on cross. He was the only person in the history of the world who was judged as innocent 3 times in a row and still got punished by death for his innocence by the same Court. If the God in heaven being the Judge of the world would have acted at that time – world would have destroyed (along with the Romans the best civilization of the world at that time with the profound pride of their justice system – they called others Barbarians), (along with Jews who had scriptures to recognize this person, and was fiercely proud that they are children of God) – but God kept quiet to give Jesus as sacrifice to redeem the World.

Jews knew what exactly is meant by the term Son of man (it is same as saying incarnation of God as human) – as Son of God – that is why they killed him for making himself equal to God and thus accusing blasphemy.

There are some Muslims asking how come if God incarnated as Human how then the God can be in heaven at the same time – thus denying the fact of incarnation.

May I put one more example to understand this aspect comparing with the computer game?

For example if we want to do a car race we can get a real car and do it in real time in real world of our existence or get into a computer game enjoy simulated experience in a cyber world. There will be a car and an image too for us, other cars, and persons. There are laws defined in that cyber world. We are to follow the laws defined there to win the race. If you fail that standards you have start again all over. While we being outside the cyber world will be controlling all the actions of our image. The failures, successes and emotions will be directly transferred to us.

Thus God let the Word of God (son)being born as Jesus as his image among men in our world of existence and lived in Him and did the act of salvation by fulfilling the laws set for us in this world while at the same time existing Heaven outside our world of existence.

This is an explanation but not theology. This is given to understand the situation. Hope these would find helpful for anyone in pursuit of Truth and Jesus.

God Bless

KORAN:“The Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary, was no more than God’s apostle . . .God is but one God. GOD FORBID THAT HE SHOULD HAVE A SON!” (4:171)

Do Christians really know who God is? Jesus, have mercy on them!
Get a grip people. Look at this world with the eye of God and not a worldly eye!
I testify before God that there is no contradiction on the part of God.
In one age, He can flood the earth if He wants to. In another, burn it with fire.
In one Dispensation enjoin the slaughter of bulls and goats, and in another forbid it.
He will turn water into wine, and interpret dead letter into living Water.
He can satisfy the kingdoms of one age who want leader born of a god, by causing a Virgin to conceive the Word by the Holy Spirit. But He has more He can do.

In another Age that same Spirit can send down the Word to an illiterate man…and if you deny it, you deny the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, I testify before God Almighty!
It is apostasy before God to say Gabriel told Muhammad to deny Jesus, when in fact, He established belief in Him among savage tribes. Be ashamed of your insolence!

And in this age, He can manifest the Everlasting Father, the Lord of Hosts, the Holy One of Israel, and bring the Jews home and protect the Land by the power of a new Covenant.
But the blind will not see even if the Archangel were standing right in front of them!
In the Name of God: Stop quarreling over the mysterious ambiguity of the Sonship!
It is you who are the perverse spirit of anti-christ, which leads to war and crusades!
He has the qualities of the Father, but God does not beget like we do. He says: ‘Be’
Remember Christ promised He would have a new Name. (Revelation 2:17 & 3:12)

**Say, O followers of the Son! **[Jesus] Have ye shut out yourselves from Me by reason of My Name? Wherefore ponder ye not in your hearts? Day and night ye have been calling upon your Lord, the Omnipotent, but when He came from the heaven of eternity in His great glory, ye turned aside from Him and remained sunk in heedlessness.

**Say, Lo! The Father is come, and that which ye were promised in the Kingdom is fulfilled! This is the Word which the Son concealed, when to those around Him He said: ‘Ye cannot bear it now.’ And when the appointed time was fulfilled and the Hour had struck, the Word shone forth above the horizon of the Will of God.
Beware, O followers of the Son, that ye cast it not behind your backs. Take ye fast hold of it. Better is this for you than all that ye possess. Verily He is nigh unto them that do good. The Hour which We had concealed from the knowledge of the peoples of the earth and of the favoured angels hath come to pass.
Say, verily, He hath testified of Me, and I do testify of Him. Indeed, He hath purposed no one other than Me. Unto this beareth witness every fair-minded and understanding soul **(Tablets of Baha’u’llah, p. 11)

The holiness of Jesus is not because He never married. He wasn’t able to settle down; and had to travel from town to town. He was like a meteor across the ancient sky.
Our cultural differences prevent us from appreciating the circumstances Muhammad found Himself in. He was the chieftan in His own lifetime. So was Moses. He had to fight; so did Moses. So did the Bábís. God told all to fight!. Get over it.
Abraham, Jacob, Bahá’u’lláh and others had multiple wives. There was nothing wrong with it; but it would certainly be difficult for normal men to be just to each one of them!
In Bahá’u’lláh’s family there was bitter opposition on the part of some sons against the eldest, who was appointed Center of the Cause afterwards. This was instructive in itself.

My point is, forgive and forget, and consider the human race one family, and don’t create more controversy. The Chrisitans were far from exemplary of the teachings of meekness.

**Every imperfect soul is self-centered and thinketh only of his own good.

But as his thoughts expand a little he will begin to think of the welfare and comfort of his family.

If his ideas still more widen, his concern will be the felicity of his fellow citizens;

and if still they widen, he will be thinking of the glory of his land and of his race.

But when ideas and views reach the utmost degree of expansion and attain the stage of perfection, then will he be interested in the exaltation of humankind.
He will then be the well-wisher of all men and the seeker of the weal and prosperity of all lands. This is indicative of perfection.**~Selections from the Writings of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, p. 68

The Baha’u’llah is a false profit and is of the Devil’s service and teaching. All who serve another God are serving a demon. Even if some religion claims to worship the God of Abraham but deviates from the teaching of the Apostles on Jesus Christ, they are still Anathema.

1 John 4

Test the Spirits

1Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

1 John 4:6-7 (New International Version)

6We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit[a] of truth and the spirit of falsehood.

The meek shall inherit the earth
Part 1

Christians are familiar with this sacred verse:
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. ~Matthew 5:5

They want it to happen, but what are they doing to assist it? Do they know it’s roots are in the Psalm 37? I call this the “Fret not” Psalm, because the phrase is used three times. Five times it is stressed that the meek will inherit the land. (Read the entire Psalm)
What land? First it means King David’s land of Eretz Israel; second the entire planet!

In Dead Sea “War Scroll”, which was found at Qumran, there is described the contest between the ‘Sons of Light’ and the ‘Sons of Darkness’ in military terms, we find the following passage:
**But as for the God of Israel, all that has been and is and shall be throughout the vicissitudes of all time are in His hand. This is the Day which He hath appointed for abasing and humbling the [Prince] of the Dominion of Wickedness. But He will send perpetual help to those who have a share in His redemption through the power of Michael, the mighty, ministering angel; and He will send also an eternal light to light up the children of Israel with joy. They that have cast their lot with God shall enjoy peace and blessing. In this way, the rule of Michael will be exalted among the angels, and the dominion of Israel among all flesh. **(The Dead Sea Scriptures, Theodor H. Gaster)

This is part of the Covenant with God that Abraham’s seed would bless the earth. Now, we are talking about what Christians expect to happen after Armageddon, which is Har Megiddo (the Mountain of Megiddo, i.e. Carmel) where a final, titanic contest between good and evil happens again, as it did in Elijah’s day against the baalím.

What does Islam have to say about this? In the Sura Prophets 21:105, it says:
**And now, since the Law was given, have we written in al-Zubur **(the Psalms) **that my servants, ‘the righteous, shall inherit the earth’. **

Now consider: This verse, which quotes Psalms 37:29, is the only verse in the Qur’án to quote from any other text. Gabriel is verifying the claim of David’s people on the land of Israel! And shortly before it mentions Gog and Magog, as did Ezekiel and Revelation, which points to events yet to take place after Muhammad.
This is also the case with the sketchy references to Archangel Michael in Daniel, Revelation and again in the Qur’án 2:98
Whoso is an enemy to God or his angels, or to Gabriel, or to Michael, shall have God as his enemy: for verily God is an enemy to the Infidels.

Now, modern Muslims have chaffed since 1948, that Jews were returning from the diaspora; but it was promised again and again in the Torah and the Gospel, Scriptures which the Qur’án asserts are divine. In sura 5, The Table, this is stressed many times. For instance:

5:68 Say O People of the Scripture! Ye have naught (of guidance) till ye observe the Torah and the Gospel and that which was revealed unto you from your Lord.

So, let there be an end to Jews thinking Messiah forgot to come, and Christians agitating against the Qur’án, which came to a polytheistic patchwork of barbaric tribes. And let there be an end to Muslims thinking that God can never reveal a new Book and change one community for another, and weld mankind into a coherent whole!

Again, let’s see what Jesus said about this:
And they asked Him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass? And He said…they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. (Luke 21:7 & 24)
Non-Jewish countries had ruled over Eretz Israel for most of its history. In fact, from the first captivity in Babylon, from 676 BC, until 1844, stretched 2520 years, the “Seven Times” that Moses warned the Israelites about in Leviticus 26:28 and again, Daniel 4:23 repeats it.
7 X 360 biblical years = 2520
**676 BC + 2520 solar years = 1844 C.E. **
(See Dan. 4:23 & 32)
