If triune nature is just conjecture?
I am the light of the world; anyone who follows me will not be walking in the dark;
he will have the light of life.’

At this the Pharisees said to him, ‘You are testifying on your own behalf; your testimony is not valid.’

Jesus replied:

‘It is true that I am testifying on my own behalf,
but my testimony is still valid, because I know
where I came from and where I am going;
but you do not know. where I come from or where I am going.

You judge by human standards; I judge no one,
but if I judge, my judgement will be sound, because I am not alone:
the one who sent me is with me; and in your Law it is written
that the testimony of two witnesses is valid.
I may be testifying on my own behalf,
but the Father who sent me is my witness too.’

They asked him, ‘Where is your Father?’ Jesus answered:‘You do not know me, nor do you know my Father; if you did know me,you would know my Father as well.’

Already two here. 🙂

Tony, how can you say this when all honour and Glory to God is due to Him alone?

Very strange.

I think the Question should be " Do Christians Worship the True God?"

Bceause they have different thoughts about God!
They have differing thoughts on HOW WE GET TO God, but we all agree on WHO and WHAT God is. A Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Says Martin who makes random comment that was not warranted?

**Martin you have been quite threatened lately have you?

You have been posting many warnings.

Please Lover of God and Christ, no need to be so uptight 👍

God bless and be happy be happy be full of joy

Why do our Baha’i guests keep evading having to answer our questions?

they claim that God cannot join His divine nature to our human nature. i am uncertain why they believe that they can or should declare God unable to join His divine nature to our human nature perfectly and completely as He did in becoming the Incarnate Word.
Hi eddie,

Bahais and Muslims assert this because what you are saying is pantheism 🙂

True monotheism doesn’t see Gods essence expressed in creation, otherwise we should worship a tree, for God’s essence is found there.
We should worship a grain of sand, for Gods essence is found within it.

.

If you spend too much time trying to define one’s relationship with God, there’s a danger of starting to define God and that road leads to . . . .
True.

We can never define God. But we can DISCOVER Him.

Remember, what you say is true, we cannot make God in our image. But there IS one God with a certain nature and it is our need to find out what they is with some reason.

I think we are quite wrong arguing about God in fact. Woops self is getting The better of me 😊

Regards Tony
If God is in fact TRUE, he can be discussed in FACT.

If fact is beyond God, he is a fake god(idol).

Which question related to this thread would you like answered dear ialsop?

🙂

Hello there!

I would like to know if you think the Muslims would say that they worship the Baha’i god?

Maybe a Muslim here can answer that too? 🙂

We worship the one God yes.
However since the essence of God is incomprehensible to humans, we direct our worship to God through Baha’u’llah/Jesus/Muhammad etc. Our focus is not on the human nature of these Prophets, our focus is on their Divine nature which is one and the same nature.

Not sure what a Muslim would say.

Muhammad is rotting in a grave.

The Christ is not. 🙂
No dear friend, Muhammad is as alive as Jesus. He descended from heaven and ascended to heaven.

What you are referring to is the flesh of Muhammad which does not inherit the Kingdom.

Yes discussed.

My idea would be that Any “Fact” we think we may have about God would not be a fact, but an Opinion based on some acquired knowledge.

This can be easily tested as any “Fact” we think we know about God can always be expanded upon, but of course that is so if we do not Limit God.

My apologies if it came across that way. It was not my intention.

I was sincerely happy when typing that post.

In that case, I am sorry for being cynical. 🙂

I admit, that is a personal issue of mine.
