If that were so, I, being a poor person, could well choose a life of crime to support myself: ‘poverty forced me to become a thief, robber, holdup artist…’

I don’t drink, smoke, dance… I’ve never been in the hospital because I do not engage in such rituals!

…for your example to work, that person would have to be physically restrained and forcefully fed/inject… if he/she can walk away or simply refuse the offer and does not, he/she is guilty of the choice made.

…in that particular scenario I doubt that God will hold a Believer guilty of the act which he/she is being forced to endure… but, while he/she retains self-control, the thing to do is Pray that God delivers him/her from the act that’s about to take place… and even if there’s no deliverance in sight, his/her spirit should yearn for Christ till the very last moment of self-control… recall Stephan’s martyrdom–his will was not broken as he Called to Jesus and remained in God’s Will with his dying breath!
