For what is happening in the world is this all coming together with what we have read in the book of Revelations.
 
I believe we are getting close to the reaping. I say, bring it on!
 
I have no idea when the world will end and neither does anyone else. Anyone who tries to spin you some kind of conspiracy theory yarn on YouTube is full of it.
 
The End Times began with the fall. “Near” is pretty subjective, given two facts: (1) Only the Father knows when the end will come, and (2) even a moment in God’s time is a thousand years.

Rather than worrying if the end times are near, we should live everyday preparing for the moment when we will meet the Lord, which might be far earlier than the Parousia.

Hi, I read the book of Revelations again over the weekend. I did alot of thinking, soul searching and praying. I also do not have any idea of when the world is ending, I just wanted one’s thoughts on the seven seals or maybe four seals etc… I do not have any knowledge of any ‘’ conspiracy theory yarn;. on You Tube. By the way I do use YouTube to listen to my music. God bless and keep you.

Yep, it sure looks like the current news worldwide,
w/ one third of the green grass burnt up, w/ floods
and climate change, sign in the stars and the powers
of heaven, men’s heart failing them for fear.
I have pertinent info that Aliens are now in control
behind the scenes!!
Please stay posted on this thread, it could mean
whether you will SURVIVE the Tribulation.
btw, I believe the MARK of the Beast is well on it’s
way w/ the concept of a DEBIT CARD that you hold
in HAND and a pin number that you hold in your
FOREHEAD!!
I have heard a Christian say that he will certainly
take the CARD/MARK if it means to starve or be
saved!! This is NOT a joke, it is serious.

The Book of Revelation was written for (and about) persecuted Christians under the reign of the Emperor Domitian.

The thoughts can run long into “not a chance” without the discussion being without value.

Tell us how you think the seven seals would apply to history up to the present. Compare and contrast to what Our Lord was talking about when he described the end times in Matthew 24?

Having said that, however, I’d think that yes, you’ll find most have taken the conclusion the most to heart:
"Therefore, stay awake! For you do not know on which day your Lord will come. Be sure of this: if the master of the house had known the hour of night when the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and not let his house be broken into. So too, you also must be prepared, for at an hour you do not expect, the Son of Man will come.

“Who, then, is the faithful and prudent servant, whom the master has put in charge of his household to distribute to them their food at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his master on his arrival finds doing so. Amen, I say to you, he will put him in charge of all his property. But if that wicked servant says to himself, ‘My master is long delayed,’ and begins to beat his fellow servants, and eat and drink with drunkards, the servant’s master will come on an unexpected day and at an unknown hour and will punish him severely and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth." Matt. 24:42-51

And then again
At that time some people who were present there told him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with the blood of their sacrifices. He said to them in reply, “Do you think that because these Galileans suffered in this way they were greater sinners than all other Galileans? By no means! But I tell you, if you do not repent, you will all perish as they did! Or those eighteen people who were killed when the tower at Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than everyone else who lived in Jerusalem? By no means! But I tell you, if you do not repent, you will all perish as they did!”

And he told them this parable: “There once was a person who had a fig tree planted in his orchard, and when he came in search of fruit on it but found none, he said to the gardener, ‘For three years now I have come in search of fruit on this fig tree but have found none. Cut it down. Why should it exhaust the soil?’ He said to him in reply, ‘Sir, leave it for this year also, and I shall cultivate the ground around it and fertilize it; it may bear fruit in the future. If not you can cut it down.’”
Lk 13:1-9

Centuries have come and gone, and those who remained ready have been ready when the time they may not have seen coming for their particular end time were ready for it.
 
I believe in the preterist interpretation of the book of Revelation. So to me, we are living in the thousand years with Christ, a time of grace.

Yes. The end of the age (aeon) occurred when the temple of Jerusalem was destroyed, by 70 A.D. It was not the end of the Earth.

Matthew 24:29–34 tells that “This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled”:
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

I agree. I read about the final bowl being poured and the giant hailstones and I think about the boulders being thrown by the Roman catapults against the fortified walls of Jerusalem, the wall breaching and the final assault and looting. The great city is no more.

Depending on how you define preterism, it can be very much incompatible with Catholic eschatological teaching. For instance, some preterists I’ve talked to believe Jesus’s Second Coming was in AD 70, not at some point in the future, which goes against parts of Catholic teaching (e.g. CCC 680 - 682). Of course, preterism can also be so broad as to just mean that some prophecies seen as eschatological were fulfilled in AD 70, but that’s so broad as to be a near-meaningless description.
 
I don’t think what you are describing is standard Preterism, but no I don’t believe the second coming has already occurred. In the second coming He will come as a Judge.
 
I think that Aliens are in control behind the scenes is
that w/ the sightings of UFO’s and The appearance of
psychic powers given to ppl, and the existence of RH-
blood types and the Fourth Reich being hiding in the
lower underground in the Nevada desert.
I learned all of this from an angelic being, who told me
this.
 
We should embrace the paradox, and live both as if Christ is returning in the far future, and be ready as if He would return tonight.
