beeliner! He’s a witch. He’s a witch. Let’s burn her…or him.

Lay off the heretic. He can’t help if he doesn’t know LaPlace Transforms. So, let’s burn him. Or throw him in boiling pot of soup to see he … e v o l v e s … ooooooo.

And then again we could see if he floats like wood.

He’s a witch, he’s a witch… [torches burning, crowd of angry peasants rallying to burn him]:highprayer:
Huh

👍

OP, you left us without the choice of “both”. Belief in our first parents, called Adam and Eve and belief in evolution are not incompatible.
👍

I have no problem accepting both. I figured out real early in my journey of faith, that God is quite capable of creating this universe any way he saw fit.

The question of science for me is? How did God accomplish this? Scientific inquery does not have to exclude God.

I believe that since it takes intelligence to comprehend this universe and the part we play in this universe, it took intelligence to create it.

A little bit of both I suppose, carry on.
You’ve never heard or watched “Search for the Holy Grail?” We used to listen to the recording of it in the seminary. There are parts of it that are offensive, but it’s satire, which the Brits are known for.

Well, as my wife says, " you may have come from a monkey, but I came from Adam and Eve." 😉

Sure. The entire science of biology.
Well, I’ve studied, biology, chemistry, physics, geology, and other mathematical and life courses along with history. Not a whole lot of unquestionable data there. It’s mostly caressed stuff the scientists trying to make a name for themselves doing. That’s like handing letting a … criminal pass judgement on his own crime.

I am not sure by what you mean by saying that.
If you think that I don’t believe that my ancestors are Adam and Eve then you are wrong. The story of the Creation makes sense to me on many levels, scientifically and theologically.

I believe in God.

A accept that the Theory of Evolution is a “plausible theory” only if one recognizes that God is the author and creator of all.

I voted undecided because I don’t think my opinion was portrayed.

I believe that God created life on earth through a means of Evolution, and that Adam and Eve were the first humans that resulted from that. So both kind of!

The Beauty and Design of Butterflies
Throughout history, butterflies have fascinated artists and philosophers, scientists and schoolchildren with their profound mystery and beauty. In ***Metamorphosis*** you will explore their remarkable world as few ever have before.

Same claims again and again. There is no creditable evidence at all that proves we evolved from apes, just empty claims.
There are many more evolution scenario theories other than apes to humans. This is not what we are talking about when Catholics espouse evolution.

Like all orthodox protestants, we take God and His Word, Jesus, as well as the Bible as the foundation principle of truth. All truth comes from God and, as Romans 1:20 indicates, the Nature of God is mirrored in His Creation and as cause to effect, can tell us truths about Him.

It is an error that assumes to know all truth based on our personal or exclusive reading of the Bible. God is the source of all Truth and we can be led to knowledge of Him by His Creation, if we accept the truth in humility. Humility is important since we very often have hidden sins that lead us astray, hence: Psalms 18:13 “Who can understand sins? from my secret ones cleanse me, O Lord”. Listen and learn… and stop thinking Catholics are wrong just because we are Catholic.
