I have no problem accepting both. I figured out real early in my journey of faith,that God is quite capable of creating this universe any way he saw fit.
The question of science for me is? How did God accomplish this? Scientific inquery does not have to exclude God.

Well, I’ve studied, biology, chemistry, physics, geology, and other mathematical and life courses along with history. Not a whole lot of unquestionable data there. There are many more evolution scenario theories other than apes to humans. This is not what we are talking about when Catholics espouse evolution.
