There most certainly is a Hell. Jesus himself said so, there is no question then.

God doesn’t send anyone there, they choose it for themselves.

**If one doubts in hell and forever being there if Gods condemns hits us, he might just as well say: “I believe in Jesus Christ, but not all what He said is true – some of it is rubbish”

Would any Christian dare to think so?!

(See above some of the word in the gospel I copied yesterday, in which Jesus told us about hell and warned us about hell.)

Since Jesus spoke about satan then there has to be a hell…
And if there is no evil how would you know what is good?

Eh he still does!!! lol…

There was this lady that came on the news a while ago, or actually a tv show that stated that Jesus has presented to her in her dreams and has shown her the pits of hell, she even wrote a book about it…In her dreams Jesus takes her to a realm above the Earth where demons and Angels are fighting for our souls, and how some escape into human beings to torture them and make them do horrible deeds, such as those that murder etc…And unless they repent they are doomed to hell for all eternity. She stated that Jesus asked her to take His hand and that she gave him his hand and felt this love and peace unlike any other, a great feeling and gift, and she felt like nothing could ever harm her and that she was home…Then he told her to close her eyes, and she did, and told her not to open them at all so she didn’t, then she felt this horrible heat but she still didn’t open her eyes and even with her eyes closed she could see the “damned” souls in the fiery pit, she saw so many people whom never repented and after they were in hell kept begging Jesus to forgive him and she felt his pain and sorrow and love for them and then Jesus told her that it was too late for them even if they do repent now…She said she saw this woman that sold her body for money and that snakes and scorpions came out of her private parts, and her eyes and mouth, and that her breasts were of some horrible thing and it was a painful torture over and over and Jesus told the lady that this is what happens to those souls that do not repent and live in sin their sins would be done unto them for all eternity. She also said He showed her this other woman who stole all her life, she was also blind and out of her mouth and came out horrible creatures, her hands were burned over and over, and the items she stole like jewelry etc and she would put on herself would turn into burning items upon her flesh…

Now I don’t know if this is true, but this is what this woman claims she saw that Jesus Himself showed her…And let me tell you if this is true may GOD have mercy on us and hope it’s not too late for anyone to receive God’s love into their lives!!!
Sounds pretty convincing. I mean, with it being on tv and all…

I voted yes. To clarify, i don’t believe that hell is a place where God wishes us to be tortured for being naughty. God’s love is infinite as is His mercy. Hell is where we CHOOSE to go if we choose a life (now and eternal) without God. He will not force us to join Him in heaven…
I voted yes, but I’ve been thinking if hell is a place where God is not there, is there such a place where God is not there since God is omnipresent. Besides it says in Psalm 139, where can I hide from your spirit…if I lie down in Sheol you are there too."

I think perhaps, hell is not knowing God is love.

Which would mean that some are in hell right now even though they think everything is hunky dory.

I think perhaps, hell is not knowing God is love?<

Be assured Dear, that hell jolly well knows that God is love. What makes you think there is anything at all on heaven or earth hell doesn’t know? At least in heaven before Satan was condamned?
Not only that their secret service works fine, but Satan and his demons had been in heaven as angels before, and they therefore know God and had seen God as long as thew where Angels in heaven.

All condemned people from earth who did wrong, too saw God, when they had been judged.

The unspeakable dreadful thing about hell is, that they all have seen God, they know how things are in heaven, but they never again will see heaven again and will stay in eternity in hell.

This is the fire that buns in them. In hell surely is no fire burning. Might even be it’s dead cold there. They might even have all they had on earth. What use is it all, when heaven is so great, what no eye ever saw and no ear ever heard and no human being could ever imagine the greatness of heaven. They know very well, and they even know God and His love, but will never get back to heaven.

The gap between heaven and hell is great and nobody ever would get from one side to the other once he is condemned – match Luke 16:26:
And besides all this, Abraham said, between heaven and hell a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.

Might be that gap one day after Judgment Day will widen, and hell will disappear far, far away from heaven, might be a gap of some million Universes, and eternally forgotten.

No seriously!! It was this hispanic tv news show called Telemundo…And my mom went and bought her book!! I was like WOW that sounds pretty horrible…

What kind of intrigues me about this is that if GOD is willing to forgive, since these poor souls are begging for forgiveness, as told by this lady, why wouldn’t they be forgiven or at least given another opportunity? Because it is too late for them, as according to this lady???

Kind of hits me with the whole, Our Father FORGIVES and Loves us so why not forgive them…And I asked my mom this and she told me because GOD gets tired of forgiving sinners too much and he gets upset with us that he lets those in hell rott…🤷

I don’t know how true that might be but it’s pretty sad that if someone repents in hell no matter what they have to stay there! Poor souls… 😦 Not that I am questioning GOD I mean I would understand if you have forgiven so much I am sure He might get tired of doing so you know…

Why yes. Yes I do believe in hell. It’s where I work. It’s a living hell.
Think there are a number/ranges of hell some of which:
  • we make for ourselves through wrong choices eg marry the wrong person, that we have the right to tell other people what to do, say or believe
  • are the result of the circumstances of our lives eg requiring long unpleasant treatment for a disease, we lose everything as a the result of a natural disaster
  • others make for us by making wrong choices and indulging in wrong behaviours eg bullying, treating some people as second class because of some charactericstics eg racial background, age, religion or no religion.

I think if a person is in hell is past repenting. For one to be in hell one has to choose hell so they won’t be repenting because they will not see that their sins are indeed sins so no reason to repent.

I don’t think there are and will be repentant sinners in hell. Repentance by its very definition is a way to salvation.

Of course I believe in hell. Jesus spoke on it so much. I find it sad that some Catholics do not even grasp what Jesus came to save us from.

Perhaps so they can continue to commit sins without the hassle of worrying about the consequences?😃

But that is a delusion

Do YOU believe in Hell?
I wish I didn’t believe in hell, but I do. Hell is a place seperated from God where love does not exist.

I know God is said to be everywhere so how can there be a place seperated from Him… I’m not sure, but there is, maybe it is in a different dimension or something.

I don’t even want to know about hell when/if I am in Heaven. Just knowing of a place like that would seem like a bummer, and Heaven is definately no bummer, so maybe hell is erased from our memory in Heaven…I don’t know.

All I know is I don’t wish hell on anyone. I look forward to the days when we don’t have to concern ourselves with hell. Until then we fight our way to Heaven with faith, hope and love; And pray for the salvation of all souls.

:signofcross: God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference. :signofcross:

Lets just hope we get him on a good day! Not monday’s (just after the weekend, everybody hates mondays).

Maybe a thursday afternoon or something…😉

Well according to that lady she stated that the sinners stuck in hell were repenting and asking Jesus and GOD for forgiveness and she states that Jesus said it’s too late for them!!!

**we shouldn’t really make jokes about God. God is so great, that we never will understand; greater than heaven and earth and all there is together.

Whoever believes, that Jesus Christ was God and not a teller of fairy-tales, but the absolute truth, knows there is Hell and Satan. He knows too, that Hell is a place of no return and anything but funny.

In Luke 8:30 we learn, that Hell (Abyss) is so dreadful, that hellish demons preferred to go into pigs rather than back:

Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” “Legion,” he replied, because many demons had gone into him. (Legion is 6000 men) and they begged Jesus repeatedly not to order them to go into the Abyss, but rather into a large herd of pigs feeding there. So the demons came out of the man, they went into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and was drowned.

Hell is as heaven and earth, a very real place. Torture there is not as many think fire, or being tortured bodily. We all know, that torture of the soul e.g. the worse homesickness you ever felt, is even worse. Greatest torture is to have seen God, but never to get near God or Gods Kingdom.

That hell is a PLACE, we know from Jesus word, but also from many verses in the Old Testament, like Isaiah 14:12-16 or Ezekiel 28:14-19 and many others in both Testaments.

I would not believe what she says. This is not what the Church teaches.

to be honest I really don’t know whether i believe in Hell or not. What I believe is when you die there a stairs, kind of like stairs, and if for example one has made many sins and not learn’t from there mistakes and sins that when they die they appear at the bottom of the stairs when thy die, so it takes longer for them to get to where ever they need to go. This sounds crazy but do you kind of get it? and on these stairs God and you gardian look back on your life and when there is improvement or realization then God decides when you go up one step. Finally when you reach the top you are in heaven. Don’t ask me where I got this idea because I do not know!!!

I would not believe what she says. This is not what the Church teaches.
The church teaches NOT allvergiveness. Nor taught Jesus suchlike. There is a point where things are not forgiven. Match Matthew 12:31 for a start - or take Mat 18:6

I guess my ideal of hell would be like purgatory,I believe that the fires of hell are a burning away of sin,a cleansing fire and that some may be there a long time and we are accountable for our actions on earth but that in the end all will eventually be saved only thru the DEATH AND RESSURECTION OF JESUS CHRIST “for as in Adam all die, even so in Christ ALL shall be made alive” AMEN.
