Yes, but he was converting. He was forsaking the so called pagan “god” and became a believer in the Jewish God.Oh, something else:I attended Saturday Vigil today, and the First Reading given was from 2 Kings
5:14–17, in which a King (I think) Naaman was cured of leprosy by the instruc-
tions given by Elisha, to which he said,“Now I know that there is no other God anywhere in the world but in Israel.ˮ
It is very possible that the “gods” of the other ancient religions were either angels and/or demons (where man misunderstood who they were).
Or who knows… maybe they were aliens!
