😛 Pookie. I call my hubby pookie and he calls me pookie (or more often pook for short.) We used to call our daughter pookie-baby when she a baby.

His name is Paul and I do call him Pauly most of the time. He calls me Pook most of the time. We’ve done it for so long we do it in public without even thinking.

I call my H2B Bambi or bam-bam (don’t laugh!) Bambi - because of ‘JD’ in ‘Scrubs’ ( they look quite similar and they have v similar personalities!) and Bambam because its a mix of baby and Bambam! He doesnt really have any cute names for me he has tried but nothing has ever really stuck!

I have a list of names that I call my DH by…
~Husband (this one I use most of the time)… “Hey Husband!”
~My love
~Hottie (because he IS!)
~Sexy (uh… yeah!)
~Lover or Loverboy

Actually, we hardly EVER call each other by our actual names… only when we’re annoyed with each other.

LOL… if he actually calls me “Emily” I start to cry thinking he’s mad at me! LOL!

I call DH “hon” “honey” and “dear” most often…sometimes “sexy” ;). His main ones for me are “sweetie” (which is my all-time favorite!) “beautiful” “sexy” “cutie” and Jennifer - very few people use my full name (Jen most of the time), so when he calls me Jennifer, my heart just melts.

Also, before him, I HATED pet names with a passion! But for some reason, the first time he called me sweetie, all I could do was smile :D.

Oh, and just to put in a little humor - this weekend we were teasing eachother and he called me a “little butt” and I got all insulted and said I didn’t want to be referred to as the anatomical part of my body that disposes of things…well, in his family, to call someone a “little butt” was a term of endearment, like when you did something incredibly cute. Then, I had to laugh, but still mention that I didn’t want to be called that ;).

My husband calls me Sweetheart (my favorite), Love, Baby and Wifey. I call him Love, Baby, Handsome and Hubby.

Now, those are our everyday names. When we are feeling goofy…which is daily…we use our “formal” titles. He is Sugarloaf and Whitey The Fantastic. I am Muffinbutt and Princess Fabulousa. (Don’t ask me why, I don’t know!!) When I was pregnant, I was Preggo the Magnificent.

So there are our embarrassing names. 😛

UGH! No way - we both find that kind of thing :o ing. We have very few friends who do this - and neither of our sets of parent’s do either. My mom actually calls my dad by their last name, my dad calls my mom a one syllable shortened version of her full name.

IMHO, if husbands/wives want to have pet names for each other, those should be used behind closed doors - NOT in public.

Snookums kissy face pookie bear cuddle bug ooncy face. BLEH.

For years now,
my husband has called me Doll and I have called him Bear.
Only when he is iritating me, do I call him by his first name.

Never married, so no spouse. But cats, yup

Tyler, Pearly, Conway, Czarina, Max, Silver, and Fluffy. The last three are still alive. And of course I call them cute names when I am petting them. 😃

He recently started calling me “Beana” as it rhymes with my first name, Sina. He calls me Beansters, Beans…
We call our daughter Beans, too. I used to call her Beano when she was a baby, but I didn’t realize that it was anti-gas, so I stopped when I found that out. 😃 I don’t know really how it started either- her name is Cabrini. 🙂

I call my husband Babe, Honey, Love. His name is Robert and nobody ever called him Rob until I did after we met. So now everyone I’ve introduced him to call him Rob and people who knew him before me call him Bob. 🙂

He calls me Wifey, Sweetie, Hot Mama.

Both DH and I call each other “sweetie” or "darlin’ ". We also reserve our actual full names for times of…um… displeasure or strangely enough the opposite…extra special times.

My DH also refers to me as “my bride” which I really love :o especially as we will be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary this year. 🙂

I call my wife “snoodle”, for short. On more formal occasions, it’s “snoodle of my life.”

What a cute thread!

We call each other Sweets (started out as Sweetums), and he calls me Little One. Funny thing is that when I was working, some of my coworkers started calling me Little One too, without knowing about hubby’s nickname for me (and I’m not a very short/small person). Maybe it’s my child-like disposition and love for anything candy 😛

Let me see, I use sweetheart, babe, baby, babydoll, honey, stinky (lol), and hey sexy.

She use most of those with me, but also uses ‘hey trouble’!

ok, so I wasn’t going to respond because I’m not much into cutsie names, but… my husband calls me My little life leach. Now, it sounds awful, but he got it after engaged encounter where we were learning to be life giving. Mostly, though he call me babe.

I call him honey, sweetie.
