Yes, we stop here also when a funeral procession goes by. I usually cross myself and say a brief prayer for the deceased and the family. Hail Mary, Our Father, Glory Be and whatever spontaneous prayer pops up. I do a similar thing with sirens. Maybe not all every time, but a siren is a trigger for prayer.Not sure where you live but it is common practice here in the south.
