I would suspect that they were present behind or on the side of the altar when the presider recieved and he then distributed communion to them. This does not make them concelebrants.I will reply to everybody and this post later but I just wanted to say for the above - yes, I know that. They were two separate points but linked.
They are all present at the alter, they have communion at the same time as the Priest. Hence, they are acting like concelebrants.
Concelbration is a specific term when there is more than one priest. Just being around the altar or in the sanctuary doesn’t meet this criteria.
