Do you have a kneeler at home?

I’ve seen an older gentleman bring his own homemade pillow-kneeler with him, nice satin material with corded edges. Tucks under his arm. Thinking of making my own if my knees ever go.
 
I started using one because of my age. The floor of my house keeps getting lower and lower…

I got mine at a St. Vincent de Paul thrift shop for $10 US I actually bought all four that they had and gave the other three to other people. I got another at a flea market.

There are some schematic drawings on the internet if you want to build or have one built.

Well… although I only have one daughter and therefore can hardly compare with you, I know exactly what you mean.

I’m really lucky to live only five minutes (maximum) from our parish church which is open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m, so I can sometimes go there to pray. At home it is most difficult.
 
My wife and I each have one. Our son made them for us and I added the padded cushion to kneel upon.

No, but I would really like one. I consider myself a colossal apostle and have been looking for a strong kneeler. Most of the kneelers for sale at shops look really flimsy. I am working on the colossal part; however, while doing this it would be nice to still find a kneeler. Either way I will add it to my Pro’s list for getting smaller. 😉
 
I don’t have one because to buy one is too expensive for me since I am on a very limited budget. I suppose I could have a friend of mine make one for me but I don’t know if he would want payment or not. He probably wouldn’t since he is my former step-father. But regardless, I am not going to ask him to do that for me. It would cost money for him to build one for me and I would not feel right accepting one without payment. So unless I can find one that someone is giving away for free on Facebook or something, I won’t be getting one.
 
I would like to have a kneeler for my house (prie dieu) had I only the space, the funds, and the ability to get up and down from one. But I have none of those things.

BTW you can get a kneeler reasonably priced from Autom.com.
