Thanks for that your commit and for pointing out those errors.
I have again posted I have studied the Catholic belief , and even talked to many catholic scholars about what they do and why.
But I have heard also there are some weak and un educated Catholics as well as protestants, not knowing really about their belief and teaching.
But I Have very good resource to back up what I say from their ccc, and a good resource to prove what they can , and have twisted is evidence from this site.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This webite or sourse is very good to be used against any religion or belief , which will show what the historical , and facts about the information you are looking for , and the it will back you up on good educated and factual grounds.
Generally, most people tend to view use of Wikipedia as an example of poor scholarship–after all, anyone can edit Wikipedia. However, there are some things in it that are to merit, as you say. It is very good to be used when attempting to argue from history, like this, for example:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_popes

For some reason, that list of Popes seems to extend back to the time of Christ. Seems to be working in the Catholic Church’s favor, eh?

Also from Wikipedia,
The Roman Catholic Church or Catholic Church (see Terminology, below) is the Christian Church in full communion with the Bishop of Rome, currently Pope Benedict XVI.** It traces its origins to the original Christian community founded by Jesus**, with its traditions first established by the Twelve Apostles and maintained through unbroken Apostolic Succession.

The fact is knowing God Words, oral or written , but the faith Words coming from God , and knowing God Spirit, to obey.
God can speak to us in many ways do you know that???

tHERE IS SOMETHING BEHIND IT WHEN jESUS SAY VERILY; VERILY ; IT IS WRITTEN ; THAT THE ORAL!

Do you what to try to make the today Word of God lesser than the oral Word of God??

the Written Word of God has priority over any oral Word of God!
That is why it is the final authority, and that final authority give us faith and powers and authority.
Jesus also said ‘you have seen it written (xyz) … BUT I SAY TO YOU (the opposite of xyz) …’

and ‘truly truly I SAY TO YOU’ - not quoting any previous writing, not even commanding his words to be written down, nothing …

So the emphasis is listening to HIM! Saying the written word (even the written word which we have canonised into Scripture) is the most important thing is putting the cart in front of the horse.

And yes, there are many ways in which we are spoken to - but to say everyone who THINKS they’re being spoken to is equally right is ridiculous.

Look at the Christian denominations today and all the contradictory things they believe - is the Eucharist a mere symbol? Is it Real Presence AND bread and wine together or is it purely the Body and Blood of Christ? All three positions can be argued - only one of them can be RIGHT!

Is it OK to pray to Mary and the Saints or not? Both positions can be argued, they can both quote scripture to support them, but certainly they both can’t both be correct!

If Scripture is the final authority then there would NOT be so many varying and contradictory interpretations of it - most of them fairly plausible. We HAVE to look at outside factors, such as what the early Christians believed and taught and why, what scholars understand about different verses. Most importantly we have to look at to whom Christ gave the teaching authority and the Keys of the Kingdom and the power to bind and loose - and it sure as heck wasn’t me or you!

Have you researched and study bible led Charismatic Pentecostals?
Have you study maybe the WOF movement and what they believe and why?

I am asking this because you have stated you know, and have knowledge of prostestant beliefs, so I am just checking on your resource, and what you realy know about us, because I see already some errors again in what you quoted as being a protestant teacher and evangelist.

???
I used to be a Protestant so yes, I know about the particular Protestants that I was around. I was not making a statement about all Protestants though.

I don’t see what errors you could see in what I posted, as I was discussing my own personal experiences.

But how much power and authority do you use , if any?

What is the Jesus in you allowed to do?

Can the Jesus in you raise the dead, heal the sick?

Last question do you believe personally that Jesus lives in you and uses you as His tools to do whatever Jesus want, when you let HIM???
I am not certain what you are asking, so I am having difficulty responding.

You refer to the raising of the dead. No, I haven’t done that. Are you claiming to have done this?

Yes, though, I believe that Jesus could raise the dead-if that is what you are asking me.

Jesus can use me in whatever way he sees fit, but I am still a little confused as to what you are asking. Your statements are vague, can you be more specific.

Excellent point, Lily 👍

There’s also another problem with the belief that Scripture is the final authority Nowhere in the Bible does it state or even allude to, “Scripture being the final authority”.

Until I see that “doctrine”, explicitly stated, in Sacred Sripture, I’ll stick with the teaching Authority of the Church, which Jesus Christ, Himself established 2,000 years ago.

To tell you the truth my brother or sister , we should take that issue to another thread, this thread is about the power in us , and the question and answer should not be talked about here.
That is bringing in another subject complete away from the topic.
I think this is a more important topic and has more proiority for the gospel and for us.
So it is not I don’t want to answer you it is not proper on this thread, let keep some kind of order here ok in love?

Thank you

This is why there is so many misinterpretation and different religion and etc becvause people don’t know bible priciples and like to add, take away and cut out, and misunderstand because they don’t know how to rightly didvide the Word of God , and most shamfully they don’t know who they are in Christ.
So the confussion starts when trying to make bible scrioture fit into a man made ritual or man made tradition or their church and denormination belief , so they take the scripture out of context to fit their teachings.
A good example is with JHW, and they even made a new bible to confirm their religion as well.
John 1:1 is so twisted by them for instance, and many more scripture.
They even need a watch tower to translate and know the bible.
Also to talk to people or them about the power in them and authority is foolish.

WHY?

1Co:2:10: But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
1Co:2:11: For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
1Co:2:12: Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
1Co:2:13: Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
1Co:2:14: But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

So those who are carnal and stay and reason religious thing in that stae of mind will cause confussion and different religions and etc.

Right or wrong people find their own groups to believe in and support.

Drug addicts , with each other and sects with each other, gangs with each and , and alcholics with each other , whoremongers, and even sects , cults remain and support each other, even if they are wrong.
I seen alot of this spirit with gays , and gay marrage even using the bible to back up their lust.

So I can see also why many can’t accept the power and authortity God gave us because they joined a group who want to remain powerless , and weak without any authtority and let the leaders be their Lords.
But each their own , we do have a free will .
We can even have a will to be sick , and stay in pain or be healed , or use the power inside of you which is from Jesus and be healed because Jesus already healed us on the cross 2000 years ago.
He gave us and the 70 and more disciple power and authority as the discipleship was added dairly, or day by day…

I used to be a Protestant so yes, I know about the particular Protestants that I was around. I was not making a statement about all Protestants though.

I don’t see what errors you could see in what I posted, as I was discussing my own personal experiences.
Then what faith was you?
Baptist, pentecostal,WOF,evangetical,Methodist, oneness, nondenominational and many more, which one ???

So I might can see your teachings and how they taught .

SDo prostestant church teaches that God giveth na d God taketh away or killes people , even quoting scripture from the bible to valid what they teach at a funeral, and that is taken out of contexts,m so it is a false teaching.

The same I see with this story only a pope or priest is allowed powers and authority is so dogmatic to me , and against the bible teachings.
But if a society or a religion what to claim differently in their church or society or membership belief that is their own thing , but to try to make it also the will of God and biblical is where I have to step in , with Jesus and the Holy Ghost, and rebuke… and reprove, like the bible instruct us too do.

Sorry!
I don’t want to be cofusing

I mean as you agree God can use you any way He please so as using you maybe at a funeral of some one and Jersus tells you in faith to lay hands on that dead person, or to just say like Jesus said Get up and walk ! can that be done through you and that person comes alive again or someone get jealed , or you cast out a demon in the one who is in you Jesus and use also His name to cast out that demon.

So really the demon and life must come because death and satan knows and obey that inner voice which is in you .
Unless you don’t believe Christ can live in you ???

So sence I am a bible teacher and preacher of the Word of God I would like to explain the truth scripturally , so you can grow in the Word of God.

I don’t want you to take my word or take my teaching like I am trying to be my own pope as many claim I do.

Please judge and research the truth for yourself.

Please let me know what this means to you ASAP ok???

1Co:4:4: For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.
1Co:4:5: Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
1Co:4:6: And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.

After reading this verse please aso respond what is greater .

Thank you

1 Corinthians 4:
4 For I am not conscious to myself of any thing, yet am I not hereby justified; but he that judgeth me, is the Lord. 5 Therefore judge not before the time; until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts; and then shall every man have praise from God. 6 But these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollo, for your sakes; that in us you may learn, that one be not puffed up against the other for another, above that which is written.
Simply put, it means that the Corinthians should avoid the false wisdome of vain speculation, contenting themselves with Paul’s proclamation of the Cross, which is the fulfillment of God’s promise of what is written in the Old Testament.

Take it in context. Paul could **not **have been speaking about the N/T, since it did not yet exist.

As I said before, Nowhere in the Bible does it state or even allude to, “Scripture being the final authority”.
You cannot prove this claim using Scripture, therefore, the Bible is **NOT **the final authority.

The Church, (“The Pillar and Foundation of the Truth” - 1 Timothy 3:15) founded by Jesus Christ, is the Final Authority.

You being a bible teacher and preacher does not negate the Truth of the Catholic Church in any way, as you’re only teaching and preaching *your interpertation *of Sacred Scripture. And as a human being, you are **not **infallible.

The Teaching Authority of the Church, on matters of Faith and Dogma, is guided by the Truth and Light of the Holy Spirit, thereby making Her infallible.

You can throw as many Scripture quotes out, on this thread as you want, but **none **will prove your claim.

Where do you think the NT began?

Of course it is rejected by those who don’t accept scriptures in the first place .
I gave the scripture and you ran and pull out another translation instead of being bold and brave enough to deal with the KJV scripture I gave.
you should have told me also it has to be a translation which is not spiritual or a translation and bible that you accept or read.

What a shame.

“Well” at least I did my part and proved the bible to be the final authority scripturally.

I can hear Jesus and the Holy Spirit saying well done Evangelist.
Amen!👍

It seems to me that you’re dodging my argument here. With all due respect, you brought up Wikipedia, and if I’m not mistaken, your comments about it had nothing to do with the original topic of the thread (whatever that would happen to be–I’m still not sure exactly what you were talking about). If it is proper to keep to the topic on this thread, why didn’t you? I think I know the answer–my argument was valid, and you realized this, and so refused to answer me properly. Instead, you dodged my argument.

So I ask you again–what have you to say about my comments in my previous post?

So are we starting a new topic on a pope which I don’t believe is biblical??

But your correct a pope ritual or tradition is for catholic only and for your memberships to believe.
Even mormons have a president!

So what your point by asking this question?

I thought you are more Catholic following of the CCC, or magisteriums, and Council of treat follower than the bible, because it is claim only a pope can understand and interpretate the bible which catholic are forbidden to do, by your rules and church laws under legalism?

**But anyway it is pointless to tell some of the brethen brothers and sisters because in this same forum i was being shun up before , and the question go like “how do you know it is Holy Spirit speaking to you…balah…balah…!!!” My goodness i nearly fell off from my chair after seeing the message!!!, i keep asking myself , are those pple really Christian Catholic, someone whom have Holy Spirit in them can’t even differentiate Holy Spirit and Satan and have the real presence of Lord for the Eucharist yet still question protestant how you know is Holy Spirit… : (

Well not only pple here ask me this question, back in my home town the same question popped up also…and i cannot help but shaking my head and i rather don’t want to waste time explaining to them coz to me they make it sound like Holy Spirit is only presence in the church and not else where…**
