You may not realize this, but the New Testament was written by, for, and about Catholics. This would not be in the Bible if it was not Catholic.You shouldn’t pray in tongues. It’s a Protestant invention. The “gift of tongues” given to the apostles was the ability to understand foreign languages and was granted to elthe early church to help evangelisation.
