With Valentine’s day rapidly approaching, I’ve been left with a familiar feeling.
Dislike for the day.
When my sister lived with us, before she got married, she would always go out on Valentine’s day. I was left at home, always feeling left out of the whole valentine’s day experience. No dates, no sweethearts (save for the candy ones) and no fun.
Even after I turned 18, that still didn’t change. So I wondered, “Am I the only one?”
Do YOU like Valentine’s day, or do you hate it?
Is it acceptable to hate it? Is it wrong to feel jealous?
Is it a wonderful experience for you?
Discuss anything to do with this issue, I suppose.
