Do you pray the Rosary clockwise or counter-clockwise?

Counter- clockwise. The Rosary of the Seven Sorrows of Mary has the 1st sorrow as the centerpiece and the Our Father beads are small medals depicting each of Our Lady’s sorrows
moving in a counter- clockwise fashion. So I also pray the rosary and other chaplets in the same way.
 
Clockwise-this is how I was taught years ago from the rosary booklet in school.

I never knew it was optional.-- they say you learn someting new everyday and this is the new thing I learned today:)
 
Counter clockwise. That’s how I learned it and I believe that that is the way most people do it
 
Counter-clockwise … but can’t see where it matters any.
