I have to say I’ve had really little exposure to “the news” of late.
Last time I watched the news I was close to despairing at us as a society, as the human race, putting out the various fires. Pushing back the hatred, the misery in this world.
I guess I need to at least pray as much about the world as I consume news stories.
I acknowledge that as a responsible citizen one ought to know what’s going on.
I’ve also discovered that consuming partisan news isn’t good for me. It’s so easy to get worked up and get mad. Though then again, being mad could be productive.
Anyway, how much do you expose yourself to the news? Have you found a healthy balance for yourself? Any recommendations?
