Does anybody else feel that tough times are truly ahead?

Its possible. Something sinister is underway, HOWEVER (This next line needs to be capitalized) OUR LORD JESUS IS IN CONTROL!! THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL PROTECT US. We are HIS BRIDE, Holy Church. JESUS will not let the gates of hell prevail against us. We are fighting a WON battle. This battle was won a long time ago, in fact, 2,000 years ago on a Hill called Calvary.

TO ARMS!!!

We have the MOST BLESSED SACRAMENT, GOD HIMSELF, what more do we need? HE will protect us, even in the midst of turmoil. Pray to Our Lady and entrust Yourself to Her. She will not fail You. Here is a movie that is worth the watch though…

Yes, I personally think the world is in a downward spiral. Yes, our Lord is in control.

WE NEED TO PRAY!

To arms! To the Rosary!

Yes, prophecy is showing this to be true. But as Padre Pio said, “Pray, hope and don’t worry”. Our trust is in Him. Blessings to all my dear brothers and sisters in Christ. Stand strong in faith.
Agreed, I was about to post this myself. Worrying is for the non-believers. The big man upstairs will get us through it, don’t worry about it. Just pray.

I am worried.

The secular world is going to hell in a handbasket (metaphorically speaking, not judging anyone’s soul here)

I want to go home NOW. Please, someone tell me where the transporter room is? I want to be beamed up NOW.

People have been saying this for a long time, but its different now for some reason. The USA is changing. We are headed somewhere bad. I think God is telling us that we’re going to require a different kind of Pope for what lies ahead in the world.
I believe as Jesus taught us that God is in Jesus and he is in us and we in them. Keep your Soul at Peace as he taught us. If we are at peace, Jesus will reside in us. I only have trouble feeling hs presents when I’m distrub or angery. A great Irish prayer to keep in mind. All shall be well, and all shall be well, in all manner of things all shall be well. Julian of Norwich.

I have no idea what even the next moment holds. I’m not sure it’s healthful or productive to spiral into worries about the future. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit loves us and knows what’s best. His Plan is divine and good and I trust in it even when I lack the capacity to understand.
[SIGN]And a a very mighty AMEN to that!!![/SIGN]

The decline of the Roman Empire. The Dark Ages. The bubonic plague. The excesses of the Reformation. The French Revolution. The Russian Revolution. The Cultural Revolution. Bloody wars. Heartless persecutions. The Nazis and the Holocaust. Stalin. The Cold War. The sex abuse scandals. Just a few issues off the top of my head.

Yep, we’re going to hell in a hand basket just as the Romans, Russians, French, British, Germans, the Japanese, the Chinese, and just about every people on Earth including Canadians and the USA.

Certainly if one reads St. Paul, one should conclude there’s nothing new under the sun. It’s why we needed a Redeemer. It’s why we’ll continue to need Him until the sun becomes a supernova and consumes the Earth, if humanity lasts that long.

Place your trust and your faith in the hands of God, and don’t worry.

…but we need to go out into the highways and byways as individuals and groups and meet people where they are, and say something or give them a tract.
👍 I mentioned this on another thread a while back…

I think we all need to remember to pray for the poor souls in purgatory and just remember to say our prayers. I am not always good about saying my rosary, but may get in 7-10 Hail Mary’s, a couple Our Father’s and other prayers. Prayer is central to the Christian faith and until we all look upwards, I think we will continue seeing the same problems.

Ring ring… This is humility calling. Are you there? Oh, good. Just wanted to say that God is in charge (not you or me). Don’t worry because He loves you. Even when things are scary and inexplicably hard - just trust. 🙂 :signofcross:

Perhaps you have just reached a new level of understanding and are seeing things that were there all the time.

Our Lord Jesus Christ says to us “Peace be with you”. It is for all of us who follow Him!

We need to pray, be attentive, loyal to the Church, receive the Sacraments with love, and let the Holy Spirit lead us and teach us how to reach out to others with the love of the Lord. The Lord needs us to do His Will in our lives - no matter what kind of times are coming.
We are his eyes, ears, hands, feet!

Lord, lead us! We love you! He is with us!

Ya know, it’s very easy and very difficult to do at the same time. I do trust. I really do. Ultimately. But I yelled at Him today. I’ve never done that and there have been far worse situations where I could have done so much more easily. It’s as if earthly things get in the way, and yet earthly things are what we are given, as well as, of course, many other precious things from Him. And I can’t really explain what I mean.
But what a Guy. I yelled at Him and someone came along and got me home safely anyway today. I was in quite a pickle. I do trust. I really do. Ultimately. But I am still scared from my own issues, never mind worldly ones.

It’s true that we are under God’s protection, it’s true that God will win the ultimate battle, it’s true we have nothing to fear if we have faith, it’s also true that we may undergo significant tribulation and that some will be lost. The winnowing time may be rapidly approaching.

To Arms!!

Lets Rally around the SACRED AND IMMACULATE HEARTS OF JESUS AND MARY!!

Catholics are tough stuff!!

Come on people, we’ve weathered everything secularism could throw at us. This (scoffs) is nothing. I haven’t come this far just to get chickened out by what the worlds got. Bring it on. Turmoil? BRING IT ON. My Mother wears Combat boots!!

satan, you don’t have 1 chance. you sir, are history!!

VIVA CRISTO REY!!

VIVA LE PAPA!!!

For those of us with anxiety issues, which, remember is rarely logical, this is troubling to say the least. Because there is rarely any logic to it, my belief that All Shall Be Well, while no less true, still makes life scary in a different way for us. By way of panic attacks. Logically, spiritually, humanly, et al, God will take care of us. I’ve no doubt. But my brain likes to tell me otherwise and it stinks.
I am always praying for the best outcome for us all. All Shall Be Well somehow by His grace and mercy

Well I know I have been living in tough time for years and many of my friends have also.

When I said that 5 years ago I was a “fringe wacko” and an uncharitable Catholic if I mentioned any names, 3 years ago I was merely paranoid and today it’s often the opening of a conversation. We are indeed heading somewhere evil and rather quickly.
I would never have either called you a wacko or paranoid - just overly pessimistic, as I do now.

I understand a bit better now. Please forgive me. I wasn’t aware of your personal sufferings. If you will allow, I will pray for you and I ask your prayers for me. And, let’s both continue trusting God.
