Christians are still people last I checked.
It is not a sin to get a divorce; it is only a sin if, once divorced, the couple/party remarries someone else.If a spouse wants to dissolve a marriage it is not a sin if an Anullment can be achieved, right?
That’s exactly what the Disciples complaint to Jesus about–the Sacramental trap.trapped in such a marriage
Maran atha!22 Many will say to me in that day: Lord, Lord, have not we prophesied in thy name, and cast out devils in thy name, and done many miracles in thy name? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity. (St. Matthew 7)
Yes, you profess God in your image and likeness.I personally don’t believe God would do such and so I follow a different understanding of it.
Yup, but we all are. And so I can only go off what I know to be true. Which in this case is my understanding of what God wants for me.But your fallible…
If it is a Sacramental Marriage; not.Okay; would they then be divorced in the eyes of the Church too?
So St. Paul’s Teaching was not Inspired by the Holy Spirit?Because Paul is fallible.
