I just can’t reconcile these passages. Jesus claims that something is unknown to him, yet he is God right? But then the disciples say that they belieive he knows everything. God in the OT knows all, so should Jesus not share this?
John 16:29-30
Then Jesus’ disciples said, “Now you are speaking clearly and without figures of speech. Now we can see that you know all things and that you do not even need to have anyone ask you questions. This makes us believe that you came from God.”
Mark 13:32
“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."
Matthew 24:36
“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
Isaiah 46:9-10
I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done.
Job 37:16
Do you know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge.
Psalm 147:5
Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit.
Isaiah 40:28
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.
