In order to change my life around a little bit, I’ve vowed to say some prayer to Mary whenever I feel a temptation of the flesh. Something like: “Mary, mother of God, pray for me; Mary ever-virgin, pray for me; Mary, full of grace, pray for me.” It’s worked so far.
I find myself saying this over and over… And while it’s a silly thing to say “Mary tires of interceding for her fellow Christians,” I can’t help but think I’m annoying the heck out of her.
I just want some helpful advice. To be honest, asking the saints to intercede for me is something new and I would like some theology behind it all and maybe some pointers. Thanks.
