has anybody ever felt spiritually attacked by Satan while praying a rosary devotion?(not i the middle of prayer but at other times of the day)

It would make sense since the Rosary has a special quality in the meditations and vocal prayers that makes it up.

Satan hates Mary more than God or any other creature.

“ The devil’s Whip “ -
I think that’s what Padre Pio called it.
It’s one of our top weapons.
Remember our Lady of Guadeloupe -
She has her foot on the snake !
Just like images of Saint Michael the arch angel.
Priest today at mass called her the Queen of Angels 😇

I think she means in a certain sense that Saint Louis de Monfort used except it had to do with fear.

Op, God loves Our Blessed Mother. Satan hates her to his uttermost, to the ability he is able to hate.

Mary is a name most repugnant to the devil. Because God has no revealed name, other than I Am, in exorcism, the name of Mary causes the devil to retreat. Why? Because she was a human woman who said yes to God to bear God Himself.

But will he attack anybody praying the rosary to get them to stop

I think the devil hates Mary so much because He resents how she can thwart him - both in her earthly life and now.
He resents and hates God, but he can’t help but acknowledge that the Supreme Being is powerful enough to zap him. With Mary, here is this young Jewish woman, living in a simple time, and she is coming against any and all of his schemes - and now she, a mere human, is Queen of heaven! I think that wounds him more than many things.

Can he stop you praying the rosary? Yes, he can try, of course. Mostly, I would think, by encouraging discouragement and apathy. But I see no reason why he wouldn’t try and scare people from it too. But when you hold on to what it is, this simple, effective tool against him ( much like Mary herself!), you are much better equipped to stick with it.

Well, I wouldn’t say that… God is infinitely more than Mary, and everything Mary has comes from God, so I think it follows that Satan naturally hates God more than Mary. Don’t get me wrong, he hates them both, and he hates all of us as well. Mary is most certainly holy, but I wouldn’t say Satan hates her more than God. 🙂

“I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will strike your head, and you will strike his heel.’’
Genesis 3:15

“Then the dragon was angry with the woman, and went off to make war on the rest of her children, those who keep the commandments of God and hold the testimony of Jesus.”
Revelation 12:17

Mary is Satan’s replacement. As Lucifer was once God’s greatest creation, and being a cherubim, he fell from pride and envy from the idea of having to venerate a human, a woman that would be Queen over him. She is and has what he was and had. Sure, the Evil One hates God, but I guarantee you he hates Mary in a more personal way.

Satan doesn’t attack me for praying the Rosary so it makes me feel maybe I don’t do any good with it?

I have a unique charism, and I’ve heard the snake complain directly when I pray the Rosary. Indeed, even the very thought of “that woman” causes him to be infuriated, at times even more than my meditations of the Lord. The serpent hates her with a passion, and he doesn’t come near anyone who is praying the Rosary by choice.

However, I have had him tempt me directly during a Rosary prayer, and try to interfere with my meditations. I get the feeling he would rather not have done that, to say the least, but the ultimate goal was to discourage me from continuing my Rosary devotion. Once he realized it would never work, he stopped (and moved on, waiting for another time and opportunity to strike in a different way…).

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.
