That’s exactly what I mean - i’m surprised that anyone would ever be under such an assumption. It’s almost like assuming that the Church doesn’t understand some of the most basic fundamentals of the faith.
Can I ask what led you to assume such a thing? I’m not trying to judge, I know some Christian denominations don’t celebrate Christmas, and others do but don’t hold church services on the day because they see.time with family as being more important.
