That site is maintained by traditionalist Orthodox Christians, not Eastern Catholics. You might get more appropriate responses if you posted your question in the Non-Catholic Religions section of CAF.
This is one man’s opinion, and worth every cent you paid for it. It seeks not unity, but division. For that reason alone, it should be given less weight.
That is interesting as the priest who frequently posts that link (as well as some others) in a Catholic chat room refers to them as the only true Catholics.Again, as Wynd states, may be the wrong forum for such a question since the source is an Orthodox website, I have not heard of an Eastern Catholic subscribing to this idea since I left.

And I agree with him, but that is not very relevent at the moment. It is a matter of policy here. That is interesting as the priest who frequently posts that link (as well as some others) in a Catholic chat room refers to them as the only true Catholics.
In the realm of apologetics people come up with analogies. As imperfect as it is there is a point to it.I ask this question to some Eastern Orthodox (not to be confused with Eastern Catholics) on another board and got and a resounding “YES”. I say 9 out of 10 responses, put their view of the Catholic Church in such blunt language…a couple softened the language some…but basically meant the same thing. I did however, get a couple of PMs from people…explaining this view, was promoted by a more radical tradionist bishop about a hundered or so years ago, which has taken root in EO thought, so much so…he was afraid backlash to post in the thread, and did so privately to me.

The CAF has ruled that Eastern Orthodox are not Eastern Catholics in the same sense that this forum means Easten Catholic. So when you ask “Does this truly reflect what is believed about the RCC?” I think you can reasonably be assumed to be directing your question to Papal supporters.
If anyone wants to to discuss the opinion of Orthodox Catholics not under the authority of the Supreme Pontiff at Rome this is just not the place. Most Orthodox Catholics not under the authority of the Supreme Pontiff at Rome do not read this site for one reason or another, and those that do are not supposed to call themselves Catholic here.
If one truly wants the opinion of Eastern Catholics under the Pope that’s fine, ask away here and good luck to you, but the response may be extremely limited. Especially since the source of that article is not from a website that recognizes Papal Authority, the contention just does not come from the group that calls this place home.
