Any way good if the dog’s howling is not believed as connected with any evil spirits.
BTW,are we not constrained to believe that evil spirits are roaming around and even can physically move from one body to another? No element of superstition in this?

Dogs love people so much out of all pets and this is the trust they get instead?
Tell your dad God controls life and death not the puppy. 😞

I still have my dog😊 I love her I’d never let anything bad happen to her

Just because we believe that demonic activity is possible doesn’t mean it’s always the likeliest explanation. If I start coughing and develop a sore throat, I suppose it’s possible that it’s a demon trying to torment me. However, the far likelier explanation is I’ve caught a common cold. We shouldn’t just immediately jump to a supernatural conclusion.

but I do believe if an otherwise quiet dog howls someone will die
Rosie. This is complete nonsense. Superstition is a sin against God.

Dogs howl as a means of communication. They howl at high pitched noises, other dogs, to alert humans to danger, and other reasons.

Dogs do not make people die by howling or take their soul or any such nonsense.
that night my dog howled my brother in laws cousin died in a car accident
So you are saying your dog caused your cousin’s car accident by howling? Listen to how ridiculous that is. Your dog howling and your cousin dying are unrelated. That holds as much weight as “I made a peanut butter sandwich and my cousin died so I shouldn’t make peanut butter sandwiches.” It’s ridiculous, Rosie.

You need to talk to your priest about believing superstitions, because that is grave matter.

I know it’s terrible, I don’t think dogs should be killed or dumped it won’t change what’s going to happen anyway but I do believe if an otherwise quiet dog howls someone will die it has happened to many times to be a coincidence that night my dog howled my brother in laws cousin died in a car accident, but I still have her I wouldn’t get rid of her for the world she’s the Apple of my eye
Your brother-in-law’s cousin? Were all the quiet dogs in the the cousin’s immediate family howling, too? And the quiet dogs of all the accident victim’s other cousins and their in-laws dogs, too?

Think about it: people you know have died, and your quiet dog didn’t howl for them, right?
I think you see the point.

Tell your dad to ring a bell when the dog howls… if someone is going to die, at least he can do some good and help an angel get their wings. 😉

I would say that it is absolutely certain that if a dog howls, someone, somewhere is going to die. I just don’t think it’s likely two are connected.

I’m not saying my dog caused the death I’m saying maybe she sensed it

Not all dogs can sense cancer either…
Dogs who sense cancer learn how to do it and are not necessarily 100% reliable:

Even if there is such a thing as a clairvoyant dog, you still haven’t given much evidence that you have one. After all, even if you said your grandmother’s hip only hurt once, but it was the night her granddaughter’s in-law’s cousin died, I hope we would hesitate to draw the conclusion that Grandma has a clairvoyant hip. Really, I’d let your dog off the hook until she’s howl-tagged more departing souls than the one you’ve given her credit (or blame?) for…
