It’s a climate thing, we just really don’t do ‘winter’.
We don’t really do summer either, of course - we sort of do warmer mild and colder mild - but there’s a lot of money available for Summer Olympic sports.

Obviously what China is doing is awful, but the American and British bourgeoisie are attacking them because they feel threatened by their role as a rising capitalist power. They’re fighting over trade deficits and international market access, not because they care about “human rights.” This is why they cry tears of blood at the treatment of the Uighur Muslims but turn a blind eye to similar treatment of ethnic minorities by European countries, or even do the same themselves.

Its a once in a few years event here, fun when it happens, melts really fast ( an hour or so) .If we’re really lucky (from a child’s perspective) or unlucky (from everybody else’s perspective) we might manage that for a couple of days a year.

Depends where you live, even Melbourne can get the odd snow. I remember Melbourne Cup one year, so much snow falling, It was so cold.You’re one of the lucky ones, most aussies never see snow let alone build a snowman, lol
