Praise the Lord! Deo gratias.

I guess my generation isn’t all bad.

Two of these men have served in our parish as transitional deacons, and they were both amongst those concelebrating Mass at our parish this past Sunday.

We love them both, as well as all of the Dominican Brothers and Friars we have been utterly blessed to meet and, sometimes, to know. :):)🙂

The Province of St. Joseph is truly exceptional and very, very special.

Go Dominicans. 🙂

Now if some could also join the western province, that would be fantastic. 😃

Bartholo:

I’ve heard the southern province needs some help as well.

However, it was great to read in the article that there are 69 men in formation for the Eastern Province, and the majority are in their 20s and 30s. I live in the southern part of the United States, and I’m glad that my diocese and the neighboring diocese have had significant growth in religious vocations. I attribute part of that to our newer bishop (and our auxiliary bishop) and the bishop of the neighboring diocese (along with his predecessor) who made vocations a priority.
