Not necessarily. There may be any number of good reasons persons might be advised not to form this particular community. The idea that you have suggested though, that persons who might choose to form this community would be lost to the rest of the world as a Catholic presence, is not one of them.
 
I’m going to post the same thing I did from the Catholic News forum. Remeber I don’t necessarily think the town is a good idea but I think the University is a great idea:

I know we are talking about the town here but also remeber there is a university here. I went to the temporary campus a week ago and it was one of the best experiences in my life. The students don’t cower in their own little Catholic Cave either. They go out for multiple service projects and prayer in front of abortion clinics. So even though you may not support the town so much I hope you will support the College. Namely it also has a very good Pre-Theologate program that plans to have over 60 people by next year(out of the 400 students on the temporary campus.)
which will fill their program at their temporary campus. So don’t be to fast to condemn where good came come from.
