Listed? I don’t know theres a level of acceptable conversation being determined in America to be clear. Mark Cuban for example suggest which I believe to be somewhat true that Donald behaves as a yankee wasp and you need to get past that to understand him, now to me I suppose one today could scream even thats racist and sexist to say such a thing. But he has I think a plausible point as his behavior and Obamas Ivy League attitude is to some degree predictable and has been acceptable also. However, I think I read a bunch of this PC stuff with Trump and Liz Warren of late who apparently decided to go to political war last two days. 🤷

None of that is remotely true. Most, if not all, EPA regulations are based in statute, like the CAFE standards. They can’t simply be done away with without congressional action. And even adjustments to the regulations require public comment and a review period, and are then subject to legal action from private entities. It is not a matter of just announcing that you are changing all the laws in the country, and having that take effect the next day. That is simply not how the government works.

In order to get a law passed, you need Congress to write the bill and have the President sign it.

President Obama had no interest in a law reducing tax rates.

But a President Trump would sign the law in one second.

So, all Congress needs to do is to pass a law amending the tax code, such that the maximum percentage is now 15%.

Nothing elaborate is needed.

If Congress amends the numbers for CAFE, then they don’t need to go crazy with text changes.

Now, it is “normal” for Congress to add all sorts of amendments granting special favors for friends and that sort of thing.

But if Mr. Trump makes his case, and he has done pretty well so far, then Congress will give him a one page law to sign.
 
Maybe Obama and Hillary could explain her ever vacillating position to us how increasing the trade deficit and population via immigration/border while killing off the kids makes sense in light of Bills NAFTA that inspired much of this. We know or heard she is brilliant but I haven’t heard this explained with any degree of clarity.

Might be too late, our lives might already be in the hands of ego maniacs and never to return again to sane save Jesus Christ. We at one time were fortunate with having moral ethical leaders on a regular basis. Today, eh, not so much some would claim.

And thats just not america, look at some of these world leaders, NK? Russia? Cuba? :eek:

It’s not so much how many executive orders that Obama has made; it is how he has used them to circumvent the constitutionally mandated legislative role of Congress.

The pertinent question is what executive orders and memoranda are used for and what they do. Actions can expand governmental power, or they can liberalize and enhance freedom. Examples of the latter include Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation, and Reagan’s E.O. 12291 on cost-benefit analysis that slashed the numbers of rules and Federal Register pages. A future example could be a “Meataxe” taken to Obama’s unilateral pen and phone executive actions in the event some non-establishment/non-RINO Republican were to assume power.

Some of what transpires today appears without precedent, as even the Washington Post characterized Obama’s unilateral executive action on immigration as one that “flies in the face of congressional intent.”

I don’t know. I’ve never studied that, and I’m too old and have too much to do to start now. However, there is no doubt that Obama used EE’s to circumvent the legislative process.

Last year Congress passed 87 laws, but agencies unloaded 3,408 rules and regulations, for a multiple of 39.

Beyond that, executive actions, agency “guidance,” notices and other regulatory dark matter take non-congressional lawmaking to heights still unappreciated
 
Admittedly I haven’t read the commentaries on the matter, but I can tell you the original quote: “I do whine because I want to win and I’m not happy about not winning and I am a whiner and I keep whining and whining until I win.”

I can’t tell if you are even being serious. You mean the same way that the GOP congress passed all that great reform legislation for Bush? Trump can’t even get the Speaker of the House to endorse him for office, let alone run through a bunch of legislation in a couple of weeks.
