Listening to Trump was very encouraging. This man has what we need for President. It has been a long time since we heard honest, clear, solid, American, leadership demonstrated.
This is a man who won’t release this tax returns and has given four different excuses as to why. Want to bet he supports pro-abortion groups? I do. This is a man who believes in abortion “with exceptions.” This is a man who called Mexicans, children of God, “rapists.” This is a man who wants to build a wall so that Mexicans cannot enter the US. This is a man who wants to prevent even law-abiding, God-fearing Muslims from immigrating to the US. This is a man who said he didn’t know what the president did, but he’d “figure it out later.”

Is this man president material? To each his own, and I respect your right to vote as you please, but I sure don’t think there’s anything honest or presidential about Donald Trump.

I especially like his honest, clear and solid statements about women during this campaign:

“Fox viewers give low marks to bimbo” (he tweeted this about Megan Kelly. He was just being honest)

“There was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever." (He says he was only talking about Megan Kelly’s nose)

“Look at that face!” (he was probably just giving Carly Fiorina a compliment)

“Look at her face! Would anyone vote for that face?” - Donald Trump

But he also said he “cherishes” women. 👍

He only cherishes them when they’re still young and beautiful. When they’re not he moves on like he did from Ivana to former beauty queen Marla Maples.

He and Hillary will make quite a pair. Surely both sides can do better than those two.

With poor Melania nearing fifty, I wonder when she’ll go. She seems a nice person.

No one has the slightest idea that’s true, of course. What do you suppose Melania looks like without makeup and at four in the morning after an overnight bout with the flu?

For all we know, Ivana and Maples might have been impossible people and might have rejected Trump for being old and ugly.

It’s very strange when the two people the voters dislike the most are the front runners. 🤷
Either the people who are voting for them don’t feel that way and/or the people voting for them feel they are the most competent of the choices presented to them.

They may “feel” but they sure don’t “think”.🙂

Don’t quote me on this, but I’m starting to think that FollowChrist34 was right: if it’s going to be a ClinTrump November, then another Republican should run third party.

I’m not a Trump fan, but I dislike the Dem platform even more. I don’t think we should let Dems divide and conquer Repubs time after time after time…

Oh well. There’s always been disagreement whether it’s better to vote bloc or run third party. I’m convinced that during this election, going third party will most assuredly ensure Dem victory. Young people are continuously moving left. I guess it’s the difference between a quick death or a protracted one. I’d prefer the quick death, but that would be giving up.

Thats what Bernies gonna do I;m hearing. 🙂

Indeed, although I might use a more negative word than “strange”.

RealClearPolitics has
Clinton: 38.3 to 55.1 (spread: -16.8)
Trump: 29.4 to 64.5 (spread -35.1)

Perhaps it has simply become so common to hear about “high unfavorables” (hint hint) that most people just tune those words out.

Heck yeah. If I switch Party affiliation, it will be to become part of the Constitution Party.

But as far as running a third-party candidate or not … well I generally say “Cross that bridge if we come to it” (i.e. if Trump actually gets the Nom), but there’s occasionally a moment when I’ll think about the question. 🙂

In effect Trump is arguing that one’s sex alone does not qualify one for a job. Most people would tend to agree with that.

Further, Trump has set up dual paths to victory on this point.

If Hillary complains about sexism in the future, she’s illustrating Trump’s point. If she never complains about sexism again, she’s laying down a powerful (though largely irrelevant) rhetorical weapon.

Either way, he wins on this point.

I like HRC and cannot wait for her to debate Trump. That will be fascinating!!!

And he is on his 3rd wife. VERY Presidential…

Hillary Clinton personally gives Trump the issues with which to attack her.

She just can’t help herself.

For example, she is absolutely certain to attempt gun confiscation.

This is not about carry permits.

This is not about background checks either.

This is about preventing home defense.

Chelsea Clinton doesn’t help her mom’s situation, either:

“Oops! Chelsea shot off her mouth on guns, and now Hillary has to pander – and fail”

Talking about unfavorable candidates, apparently Cruz now leads the way…

End of Feb 2016…
PRINCETON, N.J. – Ted Cruz’s and Donald Trump’s images among Republicans have dropped to all-time lows in recent days as exchanges between the Republican presidential candidates have turned highly negative and personal. Cruz’s net favorable rating among Republicans is now +14, his lowest to date and essentially the same as Trump’s

April-2016…
One thing that comes across in all these places is how unpopular Cruz is- he’s way under water even with Republican primary voters.
Republican Results

Cruz Favorability
Connecticut
Trump 59, Kasich 25, Cruz 13
Pennsylvania

The scale of Trump’s victory on Tuesday throws Cruz’s challenge into stark relief. The frontrunner romped across demographic groups, including women, defeating Cruz among them by 44 points in Connecticut, 30 points in Maryland, and 31 points in Pennsylvania, according to CBS exit polls. Those results are even bleaker for Cruz considering Trump’s vulnerabilities among female voters: Seven in 10 women overall have an unfavorable view of the billionaire, per Gallup, and he barely ekes out positive marks from Republican women.
Yet Cruz is hardly in a position to capitalize. Polls show he is broadly unpopular, with a favorability rating underwater by roughly 23 points.
