If Clinton isn’t arrested AND is the Democratic nominee, she’ll “need” the Sanders followers in the fall and need to address the schism in the Democratic Party. It doesn’t appear to be true especially after NE that Bernie followers will support Hillary.

“I will never support Hillary Clinton,” said Adam Burch, 28, of Minneapolis. “I identify as a socialist. She stands for everything that I’m against. It’s Bernie or nothing.”
Burch isn’t alone. He’s part of a group on social media called Grassroots Action for Bernie that has promised to support only Sanders in the election, using the hashtag “BernieorBust” to spread its message. Similarly, 50,000 people have signed an online pledge to write in Sanders’ name or vote for the Green Party candidate in the general election if the former Secretary of State wins the nomination.
If that happens, some in this crowd are willing to go a step further in the general election and cast their ballot for Republican front-runner Donald Trump.
“I would vote for Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton in a heartbeat,” said Patt Coltem, 60, of St. Paul. “She’s just too shady. She’s a pathological liar.”
Although the Democratic front-runner has adopted much of Sanders’ platform, Coltem acknowledges that she cannot vote for Clinton. Clinton is still the establishment-backed candidate, and her ties to Wall Street and refusal to release transcripts of her paid speeches is feeding a growing mistrust among voters. Coltem said Donald Trump’s outsider status makes him a little bit more appealing.
Please name the last person to win the presidency alongside an ongoing FBI investigation, negative favorability ratings, questions about character linked to continual flip-flops, a dubious money trail of donors, and the genuine contempt of the rival political party. In reality, Clinton is a liability to Democrats…Huffington Post

Don’t quote me on this, but I’m starting to think that FollowChrist34 was right: if it’s going to be a ClinTrump November, then another Republican should run third party.
Not a good idea. That just gives the nod to Hillary.

She won’t be arrested, and she’s likely to be the nominee, but she doesn’t need the Sanders followers. Sanders was bringing out college kids, for the most part, people who had never voted before. Hillary has the Democratic base, and that’s all she really needs, though more is always better. She’ll get some Republicans who can’t stand Trump. Even a Republican who doesn’t vote for anyone is a vote for Hillary.

Statistically speaking Bernie would be the Independent candidate as Independents now outnumber Democrats or Republicans, and among Independents, Sanders is far and away the favorite and well, as we see his disciples can’t stand Hillary.

A great idea imho is for Bernie to run independent. 🙂

If he were going to run as an Independent he wouldn’t be firing most of his campaign staff, which he’s done.

I was a Sanders supporter, and I like Hillary just fine, and I know other Sanders supporters who do.

He wants the Democrats to adopt a progressive party platform at the convention:

Hillary Clinton personally gives Trump the issues with which to attack her.

She just can’t help herself.

For example, she is absolutely certain to attempt gun confiscation.
Technically that’s the Secret Service, not Hillary herself.

I think both Hillary and Trump have ample material to work with. Trump is going to have to come up with specific answers on foreign policy, and I don’t know that he can do that.

But Trump can work around his lack of specific knowledge about foreign policy. He can talk about Hillary’s corruption, her lack of judgment in voting for the Iraq War in the first place, her lack of energy, stamina, strength, his own priority of destroying ISIS, and, most of all, his desire to make America’s Foreign Policy Great Again! Don’t forget that Trump is a master at kibitzing (to put it kindly), or BS’ing (to be more blunt).

WHAT!!! He had rave reviews with his speech Wednesday outlining his foreign policy goals. Teleprompter and all at the Nixon Center and to critical acclaim and he received a “B” on the speech much higher than the past meanderings of Hillary globalization and IslamOphobia. 🙂 In fact Its promised to be the first in a series and was overall a good presentation. The fact its critiqued by Washington should be no surprise as its in fact a critique of “Washingtons failed Obama/Hillary administration foreign policy”

Thanks

That is what he did yesterday-he also served notice that the Benghazi fiasco is not going to go away regardless of how much Hillary and supporters wish it would. The destabilization of Libya and the death of Ambassador Stevens are just two examples of the ineptness prevalent in her term as SOS

Ah, Trump. It’s rich for him to say that women don’t like Secretary Clinton…and I mean rich as in, I need some of that for my garden right now!

Every poll in the world shows that HRC does very well with woman. Mr. Trump? Not so much…😛
Depends on the demographic she isn’t polling well with young women who eschew her in favor of an old white male socialist. Now that is verrrry telling.

What I find interesting is that Trump’s warts are on display for all to see. Every statement or misstatement about women is played over and over again. OK…fine. His previous actions and issues in business (like some of his bankruptcies) are talked about incessantly. OK…fine.

But why does the media act like Hillary’s actual war on women is “off limits”, or some of her past “business” actions are off limits? Why not investigate her role in the suppression of the “bimbo eruptions”? Why not ask her about what role she play in trashing the reputations of women who accused her husband of sexual abuse?

breitbart.com/big-government/2015/12/31/rap-sheet-the-women-who-claim-to-be-victims-of-bill-and-hillary-clinton/

Why not ask her about this:

Why the double standard?
A rhetorical question,I assume.😉

Actually you can simply read the statistical turnout for N-E voting. Exit polls show that Trump won 55 % of female voters in his party.

Its click bang gossip imho as it turns out and I think it was put to rest Tues. Can the same results continue nation wide? I don’t see why not.

I think this is the big unknown in this election. He has his share of enemies in both parties, but he certainly knows how to exploit the weaknesses of his enemies as well.
