Let’s hope so, since she has no policy proposals that have any merit.
Well, I disagree, I think she does. She even wants to fix what’s wrong with the ACA. We disagree. That’s fine. That’s why we have more than one political candidate.

How, specifically is she going to fix the ACA?

Everyone here is well aware of forum rules, you needn’t remind us.Also your assertions that any discussion re their dysfunctional marriage is assumption and idle gossip is nonsense. If they can’t keep it together for the public eye,I seriously doubt things are any better behind closed doors. They are a couple of power hungry individuals who have put up with each other for political expediency.Really no point in discussing this any further.

It is a responsibility we all have to ourselves to not be deceived by people who wish to be behind the desk “where the buck stops” in the White House. Close examination of what is claimed beneath the personality surface is vital. The Clinton’s are entitled to their privacy but when it is a matter of trust and responsibility they invited the citizenry to discern their values. Near the end of Bill’s first term the exposure of his activities began to surface and most of the important affairs of the country were not addressed. The Clinton term was totally distracted by the exposure of pedaling the Lincoln bedroom (and what Hollywood female was sleeping over while Hillary went somewhere). Also, a frequent/sleep over visitor was Denise Rich (the ex-wife) of Mark Rich that “secured” a pardon for Mark as he was living as a fugitive in Europe for his financial crimes. Guess who assisted in the transaction - Eric Holder. What a coincidence!

If you weren’t aware at the time of these events, they were extremely numerous and really bad. That’s the only way to sum it up. You could research and it will be proved beyond question. The story starts in college days, gets rolling in Arkansas, and remains pathetic today. Bill Clinton spun his so called “charm” and caught lots of snakes.

Here is today’s red flag: Hillary is his other half and an equal partaker. In a two man race they tie!

I disagree. A few of Hillary’s many, many accomplishments:

correctrecord.org/the-points/attack-right-wing-ignores-hillary-clintons-achievements-as-senator/

What others see as some of Hillary’s greatest accomplishments:

politico.com/magazine/story/2015/09/carly-fiorina-debate-hillary-clintons-greatest-accomplishment-213157

And, I have no idea what a “kleptocrat” is unless you are insinuating that ALL Democrats are kleptomaniacs, which would be very uncharitable of you.
Hillary’s work increasing the survivor benefit plan for military members is great, as is her work improving care for vets with TBI.

The rest of these accomplishments are scant. It’s funny reading Harry Reid’s statements about how great Hillary was with the Iran nuke deal…that is turning out to be disastrous.

Kleptocrat = a politician who uses their political position for personal gain. IE: Using one’s influence as Secretary of State to steer foreign money into your personal foundation that then pays for your families world-class travel arrangements.

Nothing to do with kleptomaniacs, or Democrats in general.

Please provide a source for your allegation that Hillary is a “kleptocrat?”

You did not answer this question:

Do you believe that Trump has not had any affairs with any young women working for him? Maybe you have not seen this: thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/01/27/christians-cringe-at-donald-trump-s-sexy-past.html

An excerpt: ‘In The Art of the Deal, Trump boasted about bedding other men’s wives.
“If I told the real stories of my experiences with women, often seemingly very happily married and important women, this book would be a guaranteed best-seller,” Trump wrote.’

Are you saying sleeping with ‘married or important woman’ is not as bad as with 20 year old interns?
I am not a Trump supporter. I do not believe he has the right personality to lead the United States.

If you are asking me what is worse, sleeping with a married woman or ruining an interns life through sexual harassment? That is not my job to judge.

We will never get a perfect person for president, so we will always be in the position of choosing the “best”, or, at least, the “least worst” person for the office.

So if I were to choose which offense (sleeping with married woman, or using your position of power to sexually harass an intern) would be worse for the Presidency, I would say the latter because it is an abuse of the power that you are asking for.

Not that it will change your mind Lily, but the list is very, very, very long.

This one outlines her kleptocracy very well.

This one is more of a general review of how kleptocracracy works. Hillary is in at every level.globalkleptocracy.net/

Thank you for providing the links, I appreciate you willingness to do so, but no, it won’t change my mind. It doesn’t really matter.

Then use Google.
I have googled the topic and reviewed, I found few to brag about. If you are going to claim her virtues, you should keep them at your fingertips and not reply with “google it”
I commented on their list. Actual ‘accomplishments’ that show any leadership are bolded.
  • Serving on a committee is not an accomplishment by itself, the Dems gave it to her for fluffing her resume.
  • Sponsoring bills that supported the Military after 9/11 are not examples of leadership.
  • Sponsoring funding for NY after 9/11 is also a DUH no brainier, they were sponsored by every representative from the state and guaranteed to pass.
  • She supported the Dream Act, which failed. This clarifies her amnesty position but it’s not an accomplishment.
  • She had some minor healthcare legislation that passed
I found the examples here to be mostly embarrassing, and bolded actual accomplishments.
  1. Her China speech on women.
?? While it may have been a good speech, it had no impact on China.
  2. Her role in killing Osama bin Laden.
?? This is embarrassing. She voted Yes to violating Pakistani sovereignty with the Seal Team mission. The CIA and Seals get the credit here.
  3. Management of the State Department and increase in US Exports.
?? Very embarrassing to claim as wins.
?? Inspector General reports were critical of her management,
?? her efforts to avoid FOIA with a private server.
?? The Sec of State gets zero credit for increasing exports. Exports rise when exiting a major global recession DUH.
  4. Iran sanctions.
!! I concede this as a win for her record, she’s a hawk.
  5. Foreign Policy Victories
?? I’m not surprised Harry Reid didn’t mention any specifics, lol. The ME policy has caused much chaos and loss of life, the current EU refugee crisis is her offspring.
  6. The SCHIP program
!! I concede this minor healthcare legislation as a win for her record,
  7. $21 billion in Fed aid for NY after 9/11
This isn’t really an accomplishment. Any warm body from NY could have gotten the money for NY after 9/11.
  8. “She was an inspirational figure for billions of women … she also did much to restore the shattered credibility of the United States,”
?? This is nice for a eulogy but there’s no meat on it, no substance to back it up (beyond she’s female).
  9. ‘Rebuilding America’s leadership and prestige overseas after the Bush years’
?? Same as above, pure partisan BS - no meat.
  10. ‘The Pediatric Research Equity Act’
!! I concede this minor healthcare legislation as a win for her record,
  11. ‘Crippling sanctions against Iran’
!! I already conceded this as a win for her record.
So when you look at it her ‘win’ record with honesty, on actual leadership that made a difference:
  • sanctions against Iran
  • some minor healthcare legislation

Of course, the sanctions against Iran led to the Iran nuke deal…which is a disaster.

She forgot to list her other accomplishments.
  1. Setting up an unsecured server in a closet in a guest bathroom of a vacation home and then routing SCI Top Secret information through it.
  2. Her ability to get the media to blame the attacks on our embassy in Benghazi on a remote youtube video that nobody had ever heard of before.
  3. That whole plutonium to Russia thing that netted the Clinton Foundation $145 million from “investors”
  4. Quieting down the entire middle east…oh, wait…scratch that.
  5. The “reset button” with Russia. Now they are doing low-level flyby (ie: mock bombing runs) over our naval combatant ships, buzzing our recon planes, have invaded parts of Ukraine, are threatening Crimea, and have taken over our role as the primary stabilizing force in the Middle East as they support Assad in Syria (who Clinton said was a good guy, then was a bad guy, and now just ignores because it’s embarrasing).

Going back to the original premise of this post - The more Donald Trump attacks Hillary Clinton on her record, the more it will seem that he is attacking her as a woman.

The press will eat this up, and show it in a mysogenistic light every night on the evening news.

And Hillary is going to be the next President.

A very interesting perspective. Although you must be aware that there was no claim of sexual harassment. Lewinsky was a willing participant.

Interesting also that you are not a Trump supporter, but you prefer we voted for Trump instead of Hillary because her husband is a philanderer, but Trump ‘merely’ slept with married women!

That’s last line is true, but can anyone say what Donald Trump will do? This is the man that still swears Obama was born in Kenya, and the man who gave us four reasons why he won’t release his taxes even though the IRS says he can. It’s not hard to guess what some of those reasons might be.

But no one has even been made the nominee yet.

How? Can you give some concrete examples of how she is going to work with a republican congress?
All this cheerleading for Hillary and how wonderful she will be for this country is just hype.I too have yet to hear any cogent arguments for voting her into office.

In the government, military, and corporate America there are rules against the boss sleeping with junior people. These rules are there to protect the junior people from undue pressure (ie: harassment) from the senior people.

He was the President of the United States. He sexually harassed his intern, even if it was consensual.

Her husband’s repeated sexual harassment (and reported brutal rape) of women is just one very small reason why nobody should support Hillary Clinton.

Go to a few of the links I posted above, there are scores of lies and scandals that have surrounded her for decades. She is dishonest, and she is a kleptocrat.

Trump never did say Obama was born in Kenya. Not now, not in 2012, not in 2008. What he did say is that Obama’s refusal to allow inspection of his original birth record was suspicious.

Hillary Clinton’s myth factory is, I’m sure, only gearing up. We’ll see it running full bore soon.

When Trump releases his tax returns after the Repub convention and uf he really is the candidate, will that make it all better? Somehow I don’t think it will.

No, “her husband’s repeated sexual harassment…of women is just one…reason why nobody should support” Bill Clinton. It has nothing to do with Hillary’s strengths or weaknesses as a political leader.

On your list, you omitted one of the most important weaknesses in judgment on the part of Hillary Clinton, namely her support of the Iraq war, which destabilized the region to the benefit of Al Qaeda, although it eventually eliminated a brutal dictator. Or do you support our efforts in Iraq, which continue to this day under the Obama administration?
