Probably someone inside the White House leaked it. There seems to be a lot coming from them.

That is the only explanation, which means it is someone on Trump’s team. All this nonsense about blaming Democrats is absurd - the leaker is posing as a Republican, but is really a Russian spy.

But all the speculation about who leaks it is a distraction from the story, which is that the Trump campaign actively sought to material that would damage their political opponent from a foreign government. That is entirely shocking and we should be careful not to lose sight of this.

“The vice president is not focused on the areas where, you know, on this campaign, especially things that happened before he was even on the ticket. As he has said, that when he joined the campaign his entire focus was on talking to the American people, taking the case that President Trump was going to make to the American people,” Lotter replied, saying Pence was focused on the administration’s agenda.

“The vice president is working every day to advance the president’s agenda,” the statement from Pence’s office, attributed to Lotter, said. “He was not aware of the meeting. He is also not focused on stories about the campaign ― especially those pertaining to the time before he joined the campaign.”

Hemmer, not to be deterred, asked again: “I understand. Fully aware of the statement there. Just come back to this question here: If it wasn’t a private citizen from Russia, did he ever meet with representatives from the Russian government during the campaign?”

Trump Jr. should certainly be held accountable, but I don’t think anyone who has been following the media should be shocked by what he did. It was pretty obviously for those with eyes to see that Trump was running a dirty campaign that benefited from Russian meddling from the start. What is truly shocking is how many Americans were willing to go along with it. And worse than that, how many *self professed Christians * are still willing to go along with it.

I kept telling the folks at Church you can’t make bargains with the devil - no matter how “tempting” it is when you so desperately want to defend the lives of the unborn. A stolen Supreme Court seat isn’t worth selling your soul, especially when abortion rates are at their lowest since 1973. But their hearts were hardened and they wouldn’t listen.

Actually, they did, and the NEWSWEEK article I read said that he could have been killed by a hired killer or a serial killer, however, Newsweek focused on the latter rather than the former.

Actually, that group raised for completeness the possibility of a hit man, but dismissed it. Hit men would not leave their targets alive; too great a risk of getting caught.
And as I said earlier, the timing seems rather coincidental in that a DNC staffer was murdered days before a Wiki leak of incriminating emails from the DNC was made public.

I agree. No one seems to be curious or outraged about where these leaks are coming from. At least Julian Assange was up front about his leaks!

And I agree it is very disingenuous!

The key point is that it is a story. This murder, as far as anyone knows, involves no action of HRC, Obama, or the DNC.

Contrast the the Trump junior story. There are actual actions of Trump jr that are being discussed.

The difference is not subtle.
