If Veselnitskaya was a private citizen, and Trump solicited her help, then it would be analogous to the situation with Christopher Steele (although one could argue that there is no such thing as a private citizen in Putin’s Russia)

But instead, she was presented as “The Russian government attorney”, which indicated that she worked for the Kremlin.

I believe the most damning bits of text from the emails are these…

You may think that isn’t much, but bear in mind that Nixon would have likely been impeached for simply responding with an “ah-huh” on the Watergate tape.

But Veselnitskaya is a private citizen and not working for the Russian government.

Well he sid that he communicated verything about the meeting. Except, as it turns out that there were four others there, including a former Russian military figure linked to intelligence.

Yes, dvdjs, I see the difference, I stated as much, by using the word, “indirectly”, BUT it doesn’t change the fact that the Democrats used false Russian sources, supposedly foreign adversaries of yours and made this public. The fact that they were willing to use such a source does not speak well of their credibility either.

Dvdjs, I’m well aware she could be lying, in fact, it would work in my favour if she was because then it would lend credence to the fact that she is not credible and that this was a set up.

She is considered a private citizen, until proven otherwise.

I know. I know. She was reporting to the top prosecutor in Russia. WSJ is reporting the whole thing but I hit a pay wall.

Old news! The Guardian already has an article about who the real Veselnitskaya is. It was written two days ago. Nothing in the article attests that she works for the government, but what I found interesting is that she wouldn’t tell who had set her up to meet Trump.

If by that you mean the Democrats found a loophole that amounts to the same results, then yes (although Trump Jr
didn’t get anything out of this). Morally speaking, however, what the Democrats did was even worse.
