these candidates
and then
other side and start focussing on POLICY
Let’s hope the debates bring out policy questions.

Brain aneurysms do not require surgery.
Not correct. They require surgery if they have ruptured or a rupture is imminent.
It would be more correct to say not all brain aneurysms require surgery.

Donald Trump Jr. doesn’t have to practice medicine; he knows it. (From “The Honeymooners” American TV comedy show of the 1950’s.)

We can always hope, but it’s not Kennedy-Nixon, it’s Trump-Biden, so don’t hold your breath.

Don Trump said Joe Biden had two brain aneurysms. Post #8, I asked and gave details.
Was it a brain aneurysms or a stroke?
" But in rare cases, aneurysms can grow big, leak, or explode. Bleeding in the brain, known as hemorrhagic stroke, is very serious and requires urgent medical care."
I followed that with my next post #10 to myself( a post came in between) explaining and direct quoting the article which describes what a brain aneurysm is and that they do not always require surgery. Once they do require surgery, they are no longer called brain aneurysms but are referred to as hemorrhagic strokes.
Brain aneurysms do not require surgery.
" That area of the blood vessel gets worn out from constant flow of blood and bulges out, almost like a bubble. It can grow to the size of a small berry."
“Stroke is caused by a blocked blood vessel or bleeding in the brain. The signs of a stroke include a sudden severe headache, weakness, numbness, vision problems, confusion, trouble walking or talking, dizziness and slurred speech.”
So yes, you are correct is that some aneurysms require surgery. My point was that Joe Biden actually had two hemorrhagic strokes and that is what Don Junior should have called them, strokes, to be correct in his dialogue.

Might be the first time a Trump got something right then!

We were talking about medical terms, not the number.
We are talking about both as he did not have one but two hemorrhagic strokes and two surgeries months apart, first stroke and surgery, one in February and second stroke and surgery in May.
In his 2007 book “Promises to Keep,” he describes passing out in a hotel room in Rochester in February 1988,
A CT scan revealed an aneurysm lying below the base of his brain. Surgery was his best chance of survival.

He underwent a microsurgical craniotomy at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
That May, Biden underwent a second surgery, which was a success.

You may have been but I wasn’t. The number is irrelevant to the medical term.

I’m glad it was successful though. It also proves Biden has a brain which is something Trump clearly doesn’t have.

The number is not irrelevant in that he had two major aneurysms causing two hemorrhagic strokes and two major surgeries to correct both

You really don’t get it. It doesn’t matter how many he had I was talking ONLY about the medical term. You can talk to someone else about the number.

If you only want to talk about the medical term and not actual surgeries, that is fine. I think I explained my posts on medical terminology

the Black Death was far worse," Biden said. “We made it through that, and we’ll make it through the Coronavirus outbreak.”
His choice of words is not always good, doesn’ think.

I am glad he is talking about his extensive experience so honestly.
