Listened intently to Donald Trump and this man is the best choice for President. He is not going to be a king but a servant. That is admirable. He is believable for the right reasons. IMO his judgement and temperament is what we desperately need.

Hillary, Bill and Obama have so much to fear from exposure. Blackmail over emails would be ineffective at this point. The accountants revealing all the payoffs and selling out the U.S. will be pumping out more line item transactions to stay busy 24/7.

At this point we know exposure and justice is forthcoming if we can make it that long.

On her best day Hillary is a mediocre candidate. on his best day Trump is a stellar candidate.
About sums it up. Can he stay focused is the question. You have to do that just to be better than her monotone. Shes not a great orator and nothing will change that. She’s decent and mediocre but smart and calculating, with Trump he’s a much more natural orator but looses focus quickly imho. How was he today addressing her speech from yesterday?

The notion that a man with an ego as big as Donald Trump’s could ever be anyone’s servant seems totally laughable to me.

I am somewhat amused about how many people hang on every word s British newspaper says about this election
So do you think that a British newspaper could not be doing any good reporting? The Guardian in my opinion is quite good. It was one of the newspapers that first reported on the documents from Edward Snowden, and at some legal risk to itself in doing so.

It’s not very ladylike for a woman to sound strident. Of course it’s OK for a man…😉
I have considered that (i.e. that I have an unconscious bias). I didn’t have a problem with Carly Fiorina’s speaking voice or style, for what it’s worth. Maybe she is more ladylike, but I think she can and does make forceful statements.

The fact is, some women (and men also) don’ t have a nice speaking voice and are not good at making speeches because they only have one rhetorical mode: loud and screetchy. It doesn’t help them make a persuasive argument.

I continue to be concerned that the Republicans are going to try to find a way to push Trump out of the race. It’s not just the White House that the GOP stands to lose, but their Senate majority, House seats, governorships, all kinds of offices up and down the ticket. That prospect couldn’t make me happier, but I don’t think it’s going to happen.

👍 Also those who have “no skin in the game” (non American!) criticizing totally.
I agree. I mean, it’s great to hear the opinions, but they really should preface things with, from a British point of view and such. It’s especially hilarious to hear very strong opinions about what America should do, when they know their own country wouldn’t do it.

VDH’s commentary really struck a chord with me.
If Trump is to be described as a racist for not expecting to get a fair trial from a Mexican, then Justice Sotomayor needs to be recognized as one too for proclaiming that you are going to get a different kind of justice from a ‘wise Latina’
.
When people like Obama have to apologize for appointing white judges, then Trump is really no different than any Democrat who
emphasis added

I think many people are waking up to that – on many different scores.

Obama, Clinton, and many other Dems are just as masterful at dividing Americans against one another, a la “identity politics”, as Trump is.

I did not said he was going to bring a win for Trump. Whatever percentage Rick Scott won by, he has won twice.

Scott, having endorsed Trump, may be beneficial in whatever way to the Trump campaign in Florida and that may help in the end.
You said you suspected Scott would campaign for Trump. I just assumed he would do so for the reason of bringing a win. But I don’t see much of a benefit to have Scott campaigning. But yes he did win twice by a mere 1% in midterm elections with less than half of the vote. I’ll give him that much.

Only one of a hundred problems.
Fair enough. Just one of a hundred but the one that you selected.

Still a little odd to me.

Reminds me of when Trump complained about that judge being “a Mexican”, and then many Dems put all their focus on whether or not it’s offensive to call a Mexican-American “a Mexican”, and if so how much.

Whenever American newspaper’s or news organizations report on Europe or anywhere else in the world, should our reporters always preface their remarks with, “from an American point of view”?

“From an American point of view, Saudi Arabia should let women drive and should allow freedom of the press”

“From an American point of view, North Korea should stop threatening to launch an atomic weapon”

“From an American point of view, Iran should free the American reporter that they had arrested”

etc. etc.

In this Bloomberg poll, 22% of Bernie Sanders supporters say they would vote for Trump, 18% Gary Johnson and 55% Clinton: bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2016-06-22/nearly-half-of-sanders-supporters-won-t-support-clinton

It seems possible that if Bernie Sanders endorsed Clinton, some of these supporters who say they would vote for Trump and/or Johnson may go to Clinton… but even if that endorsement happened, they may not go to Clinton.
Reading the whole article presented a less dire situation than I thought it might from your post. And some Bernie backers are first time voters who didn’t vote for Obama either when he won twice.

I think he has an inflated sense of self, but a actual disorder I doubt. The Orlando shooter for sure.

From some of the stories I’ve heard (such as he hires a person to go through all the newspapers of the world each day and clip any articles in which his name pops up) it wouldn’t surprise me if he were diagnosed with something. Also note that in his speeches he cannot go for very long before the subject comes back to him: his wealth, his fame, his accomplishments. His favorite topic is himself. I don’t think that’s normal. In fact if that’s not textbook narcissism, what is?
