They don’t need to cook anything up that crook can’t help himself. They need to stay vigilant because he can’t function without cheating apparently.
They are on notice.
Of course at this time there remains eye witnesses and public records disclosure which will continue to prove the case. Can’t stop books.

He is not disgraced, but triumphant after another unfair and paetisan attack by his political
opponents using the impeachment procesz as a way to try to remove him from office to better their chances before the November election. The democrat party is disgraceful. The American people saw what was happening and, fortunately, the Senate put a stop to
their foolishness. The President received a total
acquittal on both articles of impeachment. May
this blunder and failure be the legacy of Nancy Pelosi,
Jerry Nadler, Adam Schiff, Maxine Waters, Chuck
Schumer and many others. The ugly face of the
democrat party has been revealed over the last 3 years.
The democrat party is not in a good place right now. From
what I have witnessed, I hope they will not be around much
longer.

What exactly are the means Trump uses to achieve what he has achieved? Please be specific about what immoral means he has used to create jobs, reduce pro-abortion policies, etc.

By results, and in the face of what the dems have done to him wrongfully,
yes, Trump is the greatest president in the last 100 years. Maybe ever.

I get that people will disagree. That’s OK. I forgive people for being wrong. 🙂 😀

Good point.

The means are supporting someone such as Trump who ridicules the faith of others, denigrates American institutions, lies, and in general acts somewhat crazy and vindictive.

And that was just yesterday.

Trump ridicules the faith of others? Unlike, say, Obama with his mockery of those who “cling to religion?”

What dems call lying is invariably nothing more than saying a different opinion.

Trump “denigrates American institutions?” I guess if you think of planned parenthood as an American institution I can agree. Otherwise you’re just making things up as you go.

Since the evidence has been posted ad naseum here on CAF, I’ll leave it to you to educate yourself.

You are describing Trump’s personality, totally unrelated to the actions I listed. Is he using mocking religion to rescind abortion rights? Is acting crazy the means with which he contributed to lowering unemployment?

I get that you don’t like some of his behaviors - and I would agree with you. But let’s not use emotional arguments to support our positions.

Paul, you’re doing precisely what dems always do to republicans: insult them as stupid. By implying I’ve got to educate myself, you’re suggesting I’m both uneducated and ignorant. I think neither is true. I’ve seen the democratic “evidence” and reject it as fabricated; and/or unreliable and/or hyper-partisan and/or mere hate masquerading as reasoning.

Just sort of pointing that out…

To be fair, PaulinVA is generally a respectful poster. He has posted his objections to Trump numerous times. But they are mostly based on moral arguments as opposed to political actions.

I am not a Democrat. Don’t assume.

I don’t think you are stupid. You simply are parroting Republican (may I assume?) talking points that have been refuted countless times here.

I’m sorry you find the admissions of Trump and his gang are “fabricated; and/or unreliable and/or hyper-partisan”. Remember, Trump, Mulvaney, and Trump appointees have admitted/testified to the conduct. I’m not making anything up. Republican Senators have said they believe the evidence.

We’re never going to agree on Trump.
It’d be wise to avoid these sorts of threads. That said, recently there have been various threads which by mere title are needlessly inflammatory. That sort of rhetoric gets us nowhere.

You will find that when an important political event is about to happen, the Forum’s liberal membership swells, and the number of posts bashing Republicans increases exponentially. Especially the mean-spirited ones. PaulinVA is not one of them.

I do learn a lot on these threads. But I also have made liberal use of the ignore feature to mute posters who don’t add anything meaningful to the discussion.

Thank you.

Yes, I have moral objections to Trump.

I am glad to see criminal justice reform. There are other things that I think as positive.

Morally, though, I’m not willing to put up with all the other stuff.

I don’t subscribe to the idea attributed to multiple politicians describing a Central/South American dictator: “He’s a bas^%$d, but he’s our bas^%$d”. I think we can do better than that.

But those claims have not been refuted at all, here or anywhere else. Some have expressed their OPINION of those claims, but nothing that has refuted them.

Okay, you are entitled to your opinion.

As are you. But please let us be clear, for some here, they believe their opinion is actually fact and truth and will fight to the very end to “prove” their point.

That’s a good point. Many people on each side look at facts that are presented and try to position them as opinions. But, let’s be clear… Telling lies as if they are facts is wrong. They are still lies.

Take for example the lies that the President’s lawyers told in from of the Senate.
